Is Jacob in AZ or did he take William to Montana?

As far as I’ve seen he’s in Montana with baby William.

Bail posted. She will be out by 6:15pm today.

:stormingmad:

So that’s TWO so far who claimed they’d never be able to come up with $5k cash to get out yet within 24 hours, it was posted. When will the judge/courts see they’re all liars?!? Hopefully this has some impact on the outcome of their trial.

Yes, her attorney argued it at the time saying there is no way that she would be able to come up with the $5k and the judge said that was exactly what Roland said he posted bail the very next day. So I assume they knew where this was going.

It’s only a matter of time before Cassie gets out. & it the court truly believes Maddie & Roland aren’t going to be speaking, they’re wrong. Even if via a 3rd party.

I'll put bets on it. I just hope this whole thing doesn't spiral and slip through the net for William and Jacob.

I agree with all that’s been said here- these people are nuts and what they did was horrible for everyone involved (Jacobs family and baby William). That said murderers get bail so this isn’t surprising.

I’d say she’s reaping what she sowed by the looks of it. I am loving every second of it too.

Bond posted. She's getting out 11/18.

:stormingmad:

These are the same people who said they would never be able to find $5k for Roland's bond. Now they have found $15k for all three crazies. Awesome............. :notgood:

In better news, Maddie has been ordered to be electronically monitored. Tag time! :)

I’m secretly hoping she doesn’t show up so that they can take her back to jail where she belongs. MOO!

Lol, me too! Although, I think this was on Friday so it may have already happened by now.

These people need to be in lock up. I'm not sure an ankle monitor can reel in this brand of crazy. [emoji23]

She was ordered to turn herself in by 3pm yesterday. Haven’t heard if she showed or not!

I just listened to this crazy case on the Vanished podcast. These people are nuts and I'm glad to come here and read the baby was safely found.

Are there any updates??

From the Maricopa County Court record website the docket for this case seems to largely concern itself with motions, response to motions, and responses to responses between what appears to be Madeline's attorney(s) and Victim's counsel. I had never heard of such a thing as the victim having an attorney independent of the state (i.e. prosecuting attorney) let alone such an attorney engaging in proceedings let alone seeing motions and responses and such that belong in Family Court rather than the criminal court room. What is going on in the criminal court makes zero sense and why a judge is entertaining this stuff is beyond me.

It appears that the family court case is on the dismissal calendar so that could explain why Family Court type stuff is creeping into the criminal court.

the father has his own attorney because this case originated in family court then the mother and her crazy family committed criminal acts. his family law attorney has stayed on the case to protect his interests. I doubt his attorney is prosecuting this case. I think she is involved to make sure that the mother's legl wrangling cant be turned around and used to regain custody, as she has proven she will not coparent or act even slightly reasonably.

The motions I was talking about - and are still on-going - concerned Madeline trying to get Christmas visitation. These are family court issues not criminal court issues. Regardless, I find it odd that the Victim's attorney is initiating motions. How could this possibly work without causing a mistrial should the Victim's counsel initiate something or say something in front of a jury when this comes to trial? I have never seen anything like this. I think the prosecutor should be able to handle this case for the criminal matter. The family stuff belongs in Family Court. Allowing this to continue is only going to cause the defendants attorneys to attempt to re-litigate Family Court matters that already were deemed false, or otherwise ruled against - and in front of a jury causing either a mistrial or an acquittal.

Can a criminal court judge actually rule on visitation in Arizona? Because I can't see how the initial motion should not have been quashed at the outset for being out of the bounds of the criminal court. I know that judges can, and in this case did, issue rules about contact and such as a condition of bond but something like visitation seems like it belongs in family court.
