AZ - Man Caught Having Sex W/4 year old Daughter in Public

In one of the links, it says she followed him, but then lost him. So, clearly he wasn't standing around waiting for LE to show up.

Well gee it sounds to me like he took the child and went home. The woman never confronted him or told him she called 911, so why would he be waiting for LE to show up? Did the police take the child to the hospital to be examined?

Has there been any updates on this? I'm not a good searcher and was hoping this was a mistake although I'm with others, why would he run when seen, if there was any acceptable reason. Any info would be appreciated. TIA

Just checked Mystified and haven't seen an update.

The child would have had to been questioned, right? I hope she is safe.

Meanwhile the original article a parent weighed in saying he does volunteer at alot of functions at Kiva school. Of course people with any kind of illness or disability can voluneteer and are very helpful. However, the man says he can't raise his arms? :waitasec:

If that was the case how did they find him? How did LE know where he lived?

The woman stated he was unfamiliar to her so she didn't know him.

They gave description to the neighbors and found the guy fitting the description that way.

Here is a link from the Scottsdale police dept. And at the bottom is the audio of the 911 call. I think it's probably just a partial recording.
Unfortunately, there is no information as to the child’s welfare, but it does state that she was his daughter.

I’ve tried to type out the call for you, sorry, it’s not perfect.

911: 911, what is your emergency?
Caller: Uhm, I just saw an elderly man in my neighborhood that I’m not familiar with, uhm, sexually molesting a little Asian girl.
911: What exactly did you see?
Caller: Uhm, he had her up in a tree and her underwear and pants were off and it seemed he was basically, uhm, ah, masturbating her and uh, it was very shocking, (inaudible) tried to follow, he clearly saw me, uhm, and I don’t think he was sure whether or not I saw what he was doing I guess (inaudible)
911: Okay.
Caller: And I tried to see if I could figure out to stay behind him for a little bit to see what he was gonna walk to, to his house, to see where he lived, (inaudible) you guys right there, and he managed to find somewhere, I was getting a little behind him and he turned a corner and I didn’t see where he went.
911: Okay, which... Is it a trailer in front of this address?
Caller: Uhm, it’s just down the block from this address.
911: Which direction?
Caller: I’m sorry?
911: Which direction from this address?
Caller: Uhm, it is just to the, uh, North on the, it’s the next street up.
911: (Inaudible) Via Escuela.
Caller: Uh, yes (inaudible) that’s correct.
End of recording.

Thanks, Brassband!

That sheds a little light on this case. I thought what the lady witnessed was mouth to genital contact, which to me, is really hard to make a mistake about.

But now it looks like she thought he was touching her genital, which if you are trying to get a child out of a tree and you have limited mobility, I can see where it might look like that to someone.

This case disturbed me so much, I had to take a break from here for a day. I am constantly searching several times a day for any updates.

After I got over the initial shock and disgust of hearing about this, the first thing I thought was why bring her out in public to do what he could have done at home.

If he was wrongly accused and this was all a mistake, I would hope that the media would follow up and report it.

All and all, I would rather someone report something suspicious (even if it turns out nothing happened) instead of looking the other way.

I thought he couldn't lift his arms up? How could he be molesting her with his hands?

It has never been reported that this man has Guillain-Barre. That is an internet rumor as far as I know - someone left a comment to a news article. I don't put too much stock in the comments section, I mean, anybody can try to insert themselves into a case just to have people think they're important. Here at Websleuths there is a policy so that people can't mislead others by just saying, "Oh, I know that guy, he's my neighbor, blah, blah, blah.." Tricia wants proof. (It's a good rule too)
I don't think the guy would be in lock up just on somebody's word. Surely they must have interviewed the child prior to arresting him?

I believe the child is four. I sincerely doubt at this age she could give a convincing testimony either way.

Clearly despite what that article said she never claimed he took off running. It sounds like he took the child and went home.
Could the child have been wearing a dress which presumably could be mistaken for having no pants on?

Her underwear and pants were off. Pretty clear cut. No information on how high the tree was. It might not have been over his head. Waist height perhaps?? No need for him to put his arms up.

Unless the 911 caller is a lunatic, I dont get the questions about what she thinks she saw...just me.

PS Why did the dispacher already seem to know his location, ie the comment regarding a trailer in front of the house? I think they received another call on this matter...JMO.

Well if you actually listened to the 911 call, I personally don't hear anything about a "trailer"in front of his address. I think the dispatcher says either tree or street, not a trailer.

That is very unconvincing. It's not a direct quote from the 911 call.
This article has a link to the 911 call. Granted it's only partial but she does not say he had run away. And clearly he did not leave the child behind.

BBM-I have not heard the complete 911 call for sure...the fox phoenix link does not include any reference to anything after she lost him.

Brass' transcription indicates the trailer comment. Does anyone have a link to the call that extends beyond where she lost him??? TIA.

The link provided by the poster that transcribed it has the 911 call.

I am positive the dispatcher does not say "trailer" but rather "tree" or maybe "street."

Thank you. I was hoping we could get a discussion going about the call. I did the best I could, but obviously you heard something different. The parts that I couldn't make out at all, I put (inaudible). Can you make any of those parts out?

  • #78
Got it-thanks guys. The dispatcher says "tree" as in was the girl in a tree in front of the callers address...my interpretation.

The caller also states: "He clearly saw me and I dont think he was sure I saw him what he was doing, I definitely did..."

  • #79
So what is the question-whether or not it happened as she described? She states a little Asian girl as a descriptor and that the girl's pants and underwear were off. She further states she definitely saw what he was doing. And she followed him.
