Found Deceased Az- Mary O’sullivan-schultz, 70, Mesa, 28 June 2018

Mary O’Sullivan-Schultz, 70, left the site near Broadway and Higley roads around 2 a.m. She has been diagnosed as bipolar and also suffers from Alzheimer’s.

The 70-year-old takes medication for anxiety and high blood pressure but left without them.

She is 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighs about 154 pounds and has blue eyes and red hair.


O’Sullivan-Schultz, who has been known to wander from the facility, was last seen wearing a white shirt and green pants and was barefoot.

Authorities have issued a Silver Alert for a woman with medical conditions who went missing from a Mesa care facility early Thursday.

The highway electronic notification boards are not showing this silver alert. At least not the ones in Phoenix. I didn't see anything on the few I drove by in Tempe, either.

I cannot believe this lady is still missing. It was 112 degrees here today and not going to be much cooler. Hoping she is in a shelter or hospital somewhere and they just are not aware.

Mesa Police say a woman with Alzheimer's who has been missing since late June has been found dead.

According to Mary O'Sullivan'Schultz's son, Dan Schultz, her care facility wouldn't allow him to see the surveillance footage from the morning of June 28th when she went missing. They only shared it with the Mesa Police. It shows an employee or contractor of the facility allowing her to leave at about 2:00 a.m. Someone had to have punched in the code for her. However, the police weren't notified until about 3:30 a.m., and Dan didn't find out until 5:00 a.m. He believes precious time was wasted. The family has not yet ruled out retaining an attorney.
