He didn't have to say anything. But he did.
I wonder then, if he was somehow involved, was he Directly involved or Indirectly?
If he was Involved, I wonder if he could have Made someone do something, like robbery?
IMOO.

Sounds like her family may not trust the info coming out of the "family compound"... hmmmm... finally someone that isnt so tight lipped.

AND the PI couldn't comment about if there was a Person Of Interest...
So, I am thinking yes, someone is on their radar, and maybe both Tina and Mike met their demise unfortunately.

Was the comment about a possible drug debt a totally random possibility or is that based on information known?

I was amused to see that I have the same dress as the news anchor

I may have missed it, but can anyone tell me how Mike injured his hand? "Nearly severed" is a pretty big accident!

That is the cousin.

That is Tina's nephew, Dillon. He's a very intelligent boy who has basically been up for 5 days searching for his Aunt and Uncle. He's also normally a very quiet kid. (Yes I do know him. He is best friends with my son. No, I won't be an insider and divulge information that the family has respectfully asked not be released.)

The private investigator thinks it has something to do with either the husband or foul play thru someone else..... of course it could be drug debts........ but then again it could be the inheritance money.

Why don't you go ahead and throw in the kitchen sink too while you're at it ?

Are they paying him to theorize or actually investigate ? If the family wants theories, they can come over here to Websleuths and get plenty of those for free.

From Post#412 on this thread.
It was a mitre box saw injury.

Despite the vagueness that it could be one, or several of multiple reasons, I am quite glad to see something new in MSM.
He could not say who could be a POI.
He might know a lot more, but does not want to reveal it, at this moment.

Take her makeup off and pull her hair back... She has the same eyebrows, chin, nose, and brown roots. I'm not saying its her, but how can the le be so positive when there is no follow up? Its just too much of a coincidence imo.
And I want to know why they aren't circulating the bank robber picture everywhere to get an ID, you know? Does anyone know this lady. That's what they do here in New Yawk! But not peep.

Right, nephew, but wouldn't that make Luke and Dillon cousins by way of marriage?
This sure is confusing! :)

Can someone from the area elaborate on this? Is the desert west of their house known for drug dealing? Also, JoCoKSEyes's theory that the car was parked there and then someone walked back to the family compound to avoid suspicion sounds probable. No one would think twice if a neighbor was walking in the alleyway.

😁we got those theories changing with the wind😉

Yes, Dillon is the son of Mike's sister hence they are cousins.

Why do the fires keep making me see flashes of Breaking Bad?

There's gotta be a reason for that.
This is a serious crime.
Maybe they know who she is?
Maybe this could be a parallel investigation, only they aren't saying that, at all.
They are saying Nothing! Well, previous to saying nothing, they said (in my words) it wasn't who it looks like.

Ok, Good. Thanks! :)
Since they are cousins, and Luke said he was there with his cousin, I wonder which cousin that would be?
Sometimes, I feel like this is a riddle.
This case boggles the mind at times!

When I first read up on this case, it reminded me of Better Call Saul where the Kettlemans stage their own kidnapping and then disappear into the desert behind their house.

And truth is stranger than fiction...
I guess I would rather they were off being Bonnie and Clyde vs the very scary idea that bad people can just disappear two grown people into thin air!
