Those two men looking in the hole have regular clothes on. The way the one was shaking his clothes and brushing the sand off, right at the hole, hopefully it's not a problem!

from what I've seen of Az. cases of serious crimes, the jurors are usually very B & W minded, meaning, if they think you are guilty some dust thrown in the hole to sour the crime scene is not going to fly with them. They will find the person guilty more often then not, Forensics Files, CSI non-withstanding.

I don't know something in my gut is saying it isn't body/ies in that hole. Unless they have JUST started to uncover something and have more work/careful digging to do.

It seems like it would be more urgent/precise or something

I agree. It almost seems like they are discussing the logistics of something and I was thinking maybe they need to dig deeper but if the soil is very sandy they'd need to be sure those digging are safe while also trying to preserve the location as much as possible for obvious reasons

If it were bodies, wouldn't a coroner or medical examiner be there waiting? I'm guessing they would be. And since media is all over this, they would would be reporting that their vehicles were there.

A backhoe is on site now. This must be very serious to work on into the night. The original hole could have been dug by three or four field workers.

Maybe the first hole uncovered the edge of a cement/concrete slab?
It does look like they are coming at it from the other side now...
