Very sorry to see this but not that unexpected, thanks everyone for keeping the updates going throughout the night.

P.S. I hope Juan Martinez prosecutes the case, we all know by now he won't rest until justice is delivered to the departed and their family.

ETA: Oh, this is Pinal County and not Maricopa? Darn. I hope they have good prosecutors.

It had been reported that there was a backhoe on that property recently. The dirt could've been watered to disguise that a hole had recently been dug.
I can't imagin, he kills them, digs a deep whole in the middle of the night, buries them a few feet from his front door, parks the car down the street? Did he think he wouldn't be caught?

IMO it seems obvious JV has no conscience whatsoever. He lives on the road that all of those searchers went back and forth to every single day at Raceway Bar & Grill. Meanwhile, he's in the backyard disposing of their bodies. He probably "took breaks" and went and stood out front and saw the searchers cars going back and forth. Disgusting. I hope he gets the death penalty.

More importantly, I hope all the searchers know that their exhaustive efforts were not in vain.

Was this rumor or reported in the news that the reason everyone was looking so desperately in the desert was because of a certain type of desert dust that was found on the car which would relate to a specific area in the desert?

I had read somewhere that JV had a backhoe on his property (or very recently had one) which he could've used to dig such a deep hole. He/other perps could've watered the dirt to disguise that a hole had just been dug.
There was a murder in a rural town n Texas yrs ago...the guy talked his G/Fs landlord into digging (with his backhoe) a hole in Perp's G/F b/yard - immed behind house...(perp told a sad story that he was burying his Great Dane that passed)Perp then put a board over evidence & had the landlord come BACK and cover it up.

Who knows, this JV may of involved unsuspecting ppl.
Evil,evil,evil!

Why? This is my question. What was the connection between JV and this couple? I think there is going to be a lot more to this story.

I'm just glad they were found and the person responsible has been charged with their murder. I've never been in the position with a missing loved one/s but I feel that I would rather know what happened than never find my missing loved one, as horrible as it may be. JMO.

RIP Mike & Tina, two beautiful people taken far too soon :(:rose:

Yeah something like that.

Reported during PC yesterday as a friend.

Looking back on this case as it developed, I'm beginning to think the family had a good idea of what happened and who was responsible. They may have fed certain information to LE to send them down the right path without giving them specifics. When the car was "located" right there by JV's property, they had to know.

Press conf. scheduled for noon. However, police believe 2 bodies found in grave half mile from #TinaMikeCareccia's home are missing couple.

I read it somewhere (no link) right at the beginning of the case. One of the first clues
was his Son telling LE that MC was meticulous about the car, and it wouldn't have been
covered in dirt ever.

Did JV dig the hole so deep because he intended to bury the car as well, but then abandoned that effort and parked it hurriedly down the street instead in desperation?

I have been following the threads on this case without posting. I think most on here felt in their gut that this was not going to have a good outcome.

But even if there is just one shred of hope it is enough to keep everyone on the task of trying to find that one link that might have brought this couple home to their loved ones.

I know there is no deeper pain or hurt than what those that love them are feeling right now. I have no wise words of comfort. I just hope that by knowing that many people who were hoping and praying along side them, people that had never even met Michael and Tina, are saddened by the outcome too and that this helps them in some small way. May your memories and love sustain you in the hard days ahead.

@**** will be in about 10 minutes again. Our #12News app will have the noon news conference. Be sure to download it.

I've been interacting with Chris about the case and he just tweeted me this, thought I'd let you all know as I find app's much easier for press conferences.

I wonder if LE already had gotten the ping history of the phones and could see once they went to that location they never went further than the car parked practically out front of it. It just boggles the mind.

As horrible as this truly is, I'm thankful for the complete stupidity of this 🤬🤬🤬.
