It could have been a decision made by LE. Maybe they are concerned about her well being, since she gave birth in an airport bathroom with no medical care. Or they may want to confirm she hasn’t been a victim of abuse. Whoever posted her photos was likely directed/given approval by a superior to do so.

But I do agree that her photos shouldn’t have been published. We don’t know the full story. I can’t fathom who would choose to give birth in an airport, so it may not have been planned.

Very possible. In the beginning, authorities said she may have given birth in concourse B bathroom and then cleaned the baby up in a bathroom by the baggage claim. But on another news site I read

Surveillance videos released by authorities shows a woman apparently arriving from a flight, then walking with a covered bundle toward the bathroom, where she dropped off the infant at a changing table inside the women's restroom.

Police found items in the women's bathroom trash can -- including a white camisole, a green pair of lace underwear and a black pair of sweat pants, all with blood and bodily fluids -- that possibly belonged to the woman.

If she got off a plane, wouldn't LE be able to track her down by looking at the passenger list for the flight she got off of? I was previously under the impression she walked in off the street. But if she got off of a plane, it seems like releasing her image would be unnecessary to find her.

I was thinking the same thing. If she was either arriving or departing, I would think someone would have remembered her by now, but idk. I hope she’s had medical care.
