Two more weeks down time. Guess I'll use it to wash windows, curtains, etc. and do yard work. Maybe cook and freeze and stock up on trial watching supplies...like pringles, apple pie and cool whhhhip.

If I can find some chocolate wafers I'm going to make an 'ice box cake', if I can't find them I'll bake my own. Wonder if it'll keep better if I use Dream Whip instead of whipped cream?

I have to go get busy now, trial watching is sooo consuming. Of many things, har de har

The judgement of Websleuths members has yet to lead me astray so here is my question: Out of the journalists covering this trial who do you trust the most?

Anyone can write a story but I am always looking for the journalist who tells the hard core truth and does so in a way that is interesting and not over the top.

Especially in a tragic case like this. We need the facts and not over dramatic one sided writing.

Ummmmmmmmmm.......

......well, definitely NOT Keifer! Or KPNX 12, which was bought up by the Arizona Repugnent, er, Republic (Gannett Co.) a few years back.:scared:

I tend to trust the peeps at KPHO 5.
But there was one reporter that interviewed CMJA and was as hardnosed as she was trying to be.....will have to do some searching.
Mia Garcia at Fox 10, she's good.

Tricia, just tweeted to Trial Diary Jen to get her opinion. She's down there in the "trenches" so she'd know of a few. Haven't seen Katycoolady around lately, she'd really know!

Perhaps make it and freeze it without the whipped topping, then when ready to eat, defrost and apply the topping.....or cool whhhip.
sorry for OT but good snacking is essential to trial watching.

Sorry about the OT also, but I just gotta...

An ice box cake is all about the whipped what-ever, you stack chocolate wafers in a pan, spread whipped what-ever on them, more wafers, more whipped, then chill overnight, the cookies soften into a cake texture and it's like thin layers of cake between lots of whipped cream. I decided to make one of these because I can't find a recipe for that chocolate/coffee mousse/cake dessert on chinese buffets so I'm going to spike the whipped what-ever (probably Dream Whip) with coffee and see if it approximates that chinese buffet dessert which I have no idea what it's called. lol

Who was that male reporter (not Troy) that did the Arias interview, he was pretty hard-nosed and tried sticking to the facts and not the fluff. I like Troy but the other reporter seemed quite good, I'll have to look around and see if I can come up with his name.

ETA: His name is Ryan Owens.

Bryann Skoloff is great according to Jen, also a new reporter for the Az Republic is coming on, and Jen will give us the head's up on who WILL be covering Hulsey.

Jen is da BOMB!

I need me some Juan!!

Thanks Bernina, I'm not surprised the tentative date is still June 2nd, it would be sorta unkind to put a witness on the stand Thurday afternoon and then make them wait for a three day weekend before coming back. I wonder how jury selection is going, haven't seen any reports of how many are seated and how many more needed.

........and who knows what this defendant has up his sleeve?

50 shades of Arias?
Hulsey will probably look a lot different, have more meat on him, and possibly "clean up" pretty reasonably.

Not much he can put up in way of defense, except the "other guy" did it, but that's probably what all the "ShotSpotter" motions were about. The history of "psych evals" are kind of sketchy, first he doesn't want one, then he does. Possibly we'll see another parade of Dr.s........:banghead:
