Officers bullets are designed not to fragment #bryanhulsey bullets are more likely too...Jacobin

Very cool, WS's new format allows me to have to open 2 browsers at the same time and I can "squish" WS so I can read everything on both...........ok, just a random FYI.

Did Hulsey have black talons?

Big difference between 'not designed to fragment' and a bullet fragmenting upon hitting a solid object like bone. Juan should mop the floor with this guy.

Jacobin says he's seen less than 10 x rays with frags in them #bryanhulsey

Major fail.

Nope, I believe they were .357 non-hollow points........brain fart, sorry.

Black Talons were discontinued by Winchester, they came up with an alternative called "Ranger SXT" which has the running joke of "Same eXact Thing", but it isn't.
Another "factoid" for my fellow sleuthers!

Hmmm I was under the impression it was the hollow points that were designed to fragment? Is this witness just wrong?

And why are there no more tweets??

Hollow points "mushroom", so they hopefully don't go through and through (safer for bystanders). Talons mushroomed out with sharp "talon" type edges.
Soft metal bullets hit bone and fragment more so than hollow points do, and can ricochet inside the body.......think of it as a ball that goes splat on impact (hollow points) and another that bounces around for a while (soft metal).

We're 90, with "possibility" of shower later according to forecast, but that's just a ruse.
