GUILTY AZ - Officer Anthony Holly, 24, fatally shot, Glendale, 19 Feb 2007 #3

Re: Chrisman.......I think there was a really intense situation going on with all the supporters he still had in LE that showed up on his side of the court everyday.... I'm sure it effected the jury. I truly believe Chrisman was a loose cannon and I'm just glad he'll never be wearing a badge. The victim's mother will forever have to live with calling LE. It was the "perfect storm" that could have been stopped in it's tracks, at many different points, if cooler heads had prevailed.
It's just a tragedy that the final "screw up" Chrisman was nailed for was the murder of an unarmed man, trying to leave his home, and a dog who wasn't a threat.
The Officer who testified against him had nothing to gain, and everything to loose. But he held fast to his honesty and integrity.

Agree, Virgillo (am I remembering his name correctly?, it seems so long ago) was very brave to not fold under the pressure of LE from the beginning of this sad case to the very end, I'd be so proud to have him patrolling my streets.

'Morning everyone! I have hot coffee brewing but no sweets to share, been too hot to bake anything. :(

I wish I had some suggestions for you Zuri, must be very hard on the dog when storms move in.

Greetings From The First State. TS rolled in last night. My daughter's rescued Manchester Terrier is deathly afraid of TS and shakes and hides. I put her in her crate to try and keep her feeling safe. She bent the crate trying to get out. I have tried Xanax, Melatonin, Thundershirt, Valium, Anxiety supplements to no avail. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Sorry, OT.

A vet might have something similar to what they give dogs who are flying in the cargo bay of airplanes...but you just might want to up the xanax and give it to her about 30 minutes BEFORE the storm hits, if you can.
Once they get their adrenaline going, it takes longer for the xanax to be effective, and after the storm passes, they're knocked out for a while. Not the best situation.

That's the cop you want to believe all cops are. He is what all should be.

How bad is it over there? We're near 100 most days here but that's expected in SE Texas. I stay indoors after 11:00 or so if at all possible in the summer, the heat is bad enough but the humidity and ozone make you feel like you can't draw a breath.

Only just seen this, was a high of 82 last week, far too hot for over here. Lmao

Do we think we will have a verdict today?

OT: Bernina, the vet is checking tomorrow if we are going to have a Bernina!

I think her Royal Fatness is pushing a September due date for "Zuri", lol! She doesn't have enough bagging up to be due in 2 weeks..........but, the area around her dock is softening up, it's her first foal, and mares have been know to pull a surprise on me here and there! Haven't had a maiden mare on the property for 15 years and I'm used to looking at brood mares with wide rib cages and a history to go with.
You better post with the vet's results!!!! Babies are so much fun!!!!
August 10th or September 9th....

What....there isn't anything going on with you know who as far as I know

If she is having them file some sort of motion today, she really has a freakin nerve. It's travis' birthday :@

It had to be expected..........CMJA and her lawyers seem to enjoy throwing a monkey wrench into any "anniversary" that comes up in that case.
Pretty f-ing evil if you ask me.
