I don’t know, imagine that they’d need to have evidence, either that the mother took or did something to cause the miscarriage or that the baby was breathing or attempting to breath when it was born but the mother didn’t seek medical attention. It would come down to what was found in the lungs and bronchial path.

Infant's remains found at Phoenix business; police say surveillance video shows woman leaving restroom

Police say surveillance video shows a woman leaving the fast-food restaurant's restroom before the baby was ultimately found by officers, and declared dead. Anyone with information should contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.

Police say an investigation is underway after the remains of a female infant were found at a restaurant in Phoenix on March 27, and surveillance video shows what may have led up to the tragic incident.

"When officers responded to the scene, they located a newborn infant inside the bathroom. Officers attempted live-saving measures until the Phoenix Fire Department arrived and pronounced the infant deceased on scene," he explained.

Sad case. Great pic though. Surely she can be identified? Puzzled I'm not finding any articles after April.

“It’s a very tough case, I think, emotionally, you know, and to solve this case, they’re just trying to speak with her and get her side of the story and figure out exactly what happened and what occurred,” Sgt. Steve Reaume with Silent Witness said last week.
