Someone should recognize that smile?

The o'odam Tash nation borders Mexico. 15-20 miles from the nearest road to the border.

Sky Devices (her? phone) is an American mobile phone manufacturer. I have doubts this was an abandoned border crosser. Most of them have all kinds of stuff with them/on them. They only found a red stretch tank top near her remains.

She might be from Guatamala. History of Guatemalan Grills on Trippin

For the last four years, I’ve been researching and photographing the Guatemalan Highlands, exploring the theme of the invasion and conquest of the Americas. Through that process, I became really interested in the grill phenomenon, as I’m drawn to circular stories, or history repeating. People in the mountains are very serious about their Mayan heritage, but judging by my conversations with subjects, the mouth embellishments are not being done to honor their ancestors; it’s a way to show purchasing power and a very specific contemporary aesthetic.

I've been told that the central teeth of girls, top & bottom, are removed while the child is young. This isn't for aesthetics, but I don't want to go into detail.

So what are the letters craved in this photo guys lips ? And this is just an example of the type of dental work this guy had correct? Photo is not of the victim ? For clarity later.

The meaning of my post was to show an example of grill-use. I don't see letters, just an older lip.

Could this be Eldy Yojana Lopez Perez?

"Subject was last known to be at an unknown location within the Tohono O'Odham Nation on 05-11-18. She was on foot in the desert and has not been heard from since."

Both the UP and MP have zero exclusions.

No. Was trying to find more info on Eldy first... No luck yet.
Do you think it could be a match?

I couldn't find anything on Eldy. So, I emailed the Regional Program Specialist for this UP, just in case.
