Found this, Not sure it's been posted yet.
Rebekah Baptiste | Arizona Department of Child Safety
WOW there were a lot of reports made. Yet here we are.

It is too much, sickening, nauseating… she must have felt that no one cared for her
That not a single person would defend her or protect her
To me, as a human being, a women, a Mom- I’m completely heart broken that she fought so hard for her own life and health and happiness and not a single person HELPED her fight!

News report with interviews of Rebekah's last neighbors, and video context of where they lived (how isolated and desolate).

Updates in this article include prosecutors wish to try the two adults together.
"
"Prosecutors have previously said in court that they believe Baptiste and Woods are "equally culpable." They are hoping to join the two cases based on the overlapping evidence and "similar conduct."

"The conduct led to the charges are all of the same or similar conduct and are connected together in their commission and are all part of a common scheme or plan," prosecutors wrote a new court filing.

Prosecutors also wrote that the couple is now facing charges regarding not only Rebekah, but also the abuse of her two siblings."

"The new court filing also details Rebekah’s injuries, including a traumatic brain injury and spinal fracture.

Baptiste and Woods told police that the 10-year-old had run away and was eventually found by neighbors. But doctors at a Winslow hospital apparently said they didn’t believe the young girl was physically capable of running away."

Lawmakers hold oversight meeting on Arizona DCS

"On Wednesday, lawmakers held the first in a series of oversight committee meetings at the state Capitol, bringing together legislators, law enforcement, representatives from five tribal nations, and DCS officials. Their goal: to address systemic failures and prevent more children from falling through the cracks."

not at all shocking. These awful humans lied. Rebekah didn't run away the day they finally sought medical assistance for her. She had run away weeks earlier and not been seen since. Her death was just as long, slow, torturous, as her entire 10 years of life was. I wish them everything they deserve in a double dose.

Her little smile in all these photos despite what we now know were the circumstances of her life... Please let justice be swift.

This is the Preliminary Hearing in the case against Richard Baptiste, and his girlfriend, Anicia Woods over the murder of 10 year old Rebekah Baptiste.

Fair warning here, there are very graphic descriptions of some of the injuries that this poor girl suffered and it does include sexual abuse and torture.

I'm not going to comment further, I just have no words 😭

OH MY HEART. this was a hard hearing to watch but I am compelled to witness on Rebekah's behalf :( This poor child, the suffering is over, now all that's left is to make sure they pay for their cruelty.

Not at all surprised the defense attorney objected to the witness describing the injuries from each photograph of young R's body :( Glad the judge allowed the prosecution and witness to continue to do just that. I think its important that the court and the public know just how awful these humans are.

I mean I know logically the defense has to defend. But the defense attorney calling the court's attention to the fact that Rebekah is dead not from her injuries but because a hospital determined she was brain dead and withdrew life sustaining treatment is in really poor taste. :(

Had these inhumane humans not abused her to the point of death no hospital would ever have been in that position to begin with.

I've put off watching this video all day. My granddaughter was here and I just could not do it. Now, I feel I must listen. So, I totally understand. Way too many dead children.

Thank you, that was my sentiment too. I managed to watch it with some long breaks in between. I was impressed that Detective Soderquist continued to give such concise answers on the stand when it was clear how deeply it affected him.

The years of suffering Rebekah endured due to those two pieces of filth is heart wrenching.
How can they sit in court like that and hold their heads up?

Rest in peace poor girl. I'm so sorry that this world failed you like it did. You deserved so much more.

I hope something gets done at DCS so this doesn't happen again.

Murder of girl sparks scrutiny over Arizona agency tasked with protecting kids

And if this isn't a cry for help that needed to be taken MUCH more seriously, I don't know what is.

Phoenix police said they, too, called DCS five times. On the stand, Dep. Soderquist detailed one of those incidents.

“RB jumped from a two-story window in an apartment complex. She ran to at least one homeless person asking for help and then to then QT,” he said. “She told the manager that she was being abused by her stepmother,” he continued.

There it is. The "Just when I thought it couldn't get worse" worsener.

Too many cases here that this one echoes, and too few solutions for preventing more of them.

If only rings a bit hollow here. But no less true.

DCS failed her over and over again. All of the reports were closed as "unsubstantiated".
Makes me wonder what would need to happen before they took action.

Edit - her death, clearly 🙄
