FBI has been brought in....family to take polys....bio mom has been located and interviewed

NG - Custodial mom/grandmother going to take lie detector tests.
Bio-mom has been contacted and interviewed.

FBI brought in.

The young adoptive aunt's dry cry with no tears and saying "we're preparing for the worst" just doesn't sit well with me...

I think I'm watching NG (a sub in for her?) FBI brought into case.

Bio Mother found and interviewed? No other details. (I *think* that's what I heard, please someone else confirm).

M. Klaas speaking in general terms. Nothing specific to Sylar.

High risk of dehydration for Sylar if out there and not found soon.

ETA: nevermind already confirmed above me up thread.

Another local here. I live about 10 minutes away from the campground. I used to hike in that area when I was a teen almost every weekend (not so much now simply because its so blasted HOT).

I agree with larsinaz that there is no way that little guy wandered off & got lost on his own. The terrain there is difficult for my 8yo wearing hikers. A barefoot 2yo in a diaper would have been screaming from cut feet or tripping over uneven ground if he really did go off by himself.

Obviously there is more to the story than they are telling. Let's just pray he is found safe soon.

I've gotten most of my updates from reading here, so forgive me if this was addressed elsewhere, but I've really been thinking about the creek ~ how deep is it, what is the current like, and so forth ~ and is it possible he fell or wandered into it and was swept away? Another question I've had ~ does anyone besides "family" remember seeing him there that night? :waitasec: MOO

I've had my suspicions since the story broke.

Sorry I can't help with NG coverage tonight ~ digital cable problems with HLN channel. :( So, thanks for updates!

I would like to know where C Newton (foster/prospective adoptive) mom lives with her children and Syler and if that location has been searched (with Cadaver dogs)...maybe Syler was never at the camp...

Coyotes for certain. Mtn lions and to a lesser degree, black bear would certainly be possible(but not likely).

Like I said in an earlier post, the wildlife at this spot I'd be concerned with is the people. It is very easy to get to and just minutes off a major interstate. When something in Az is easy to get to, it tends to attract a bunch of idiots.

Me too...from the very first video of her whaling "My baby's gone! Find my baby!" :banghead: Sorry, it just wasn't very convincing to me. :waitasec:

Hi Mom...campers placed Syler there at the campsite around 9:30 pm. said he seemed fine ...
I think C. Newton is bio mom ...

Yes, the sheriff confirmed that non-family campers saw him playing around his campsite as late as 9:30 Saturday night.

It was confirmed that non-relative campers did see Syler at the campground around 9:30pm. So he was definitely there.

Thank you ! I wondered about bears, did not seem like the sort of terrain that would support them, now Mnt. Lions I can see ....

Hi momtective.

Adoptive mom's name is C. Priem. (Christina AKA Tina)

We haven't determined who C. Newton is, they were named as a "friend" on the adoptive mom's myspace. (we might need to go back and take her name off thread).

Syler was seen at camp (from sheriff presser) by independent eye witness(es) who were unnamed in media that said they saw Sylar at campground as late as 9:30 PM the evening prior to his being reported missing. (noticed missing at 1:45 AM, 911 call came into center at 2:30 AM and LE on scene by 3 AM, all from links backthread).

HTH.

panthera, I remember LE saying in the first presser that the ponds are only like a foot deep but very murkey. He also said something to the effect that any rapid water is pretty nill there (my words, not his) but something to that effect.
I will see if I can find the video.....
