I really dont like calling this woman his adoptive mom. I am just gonna stick with tina.

I think someone should go and shake this woman before this case turns into another Flordia case. I hope Syler is found before his thread turns into a forum.

I hope they have asked everyone with camra's to turn those over so the LE office can reveiw those photo's for strangeness. A blanket that is missing or dramatic scene changes any clue that may find this child. I would have to think any photo taken at that camp ground would be relavent to reveiw. Even ones at other campsites. I hope they have gauged her gas from her debit card purchase to her story and her travel.
I also think the adoptive mothers is hinky starting with her misspelling of his name.
I think he may have left in a car shortly after 930.

If I thought someone was watching my kids, neice, friends etc.. I would have taken down a tag number first then I would not of slept. If this woman thought him odd and his is real then other unrelated campers should be following with reports of him as well.
According to NCMEC it's Sylar. Perhaps the news/police release got the name spelling wrong?

Nothing new? I feel my heart breaking once again. Where is sylar?

  • #345
So far we haven't heard of her sleeping in a tent at all which is strange. However she was there when the media first arrived and was interviewed.

Didn't the news say that Angela was called at work in the morning about Syler being missing?

That could be possible. I went back and watched the video with her interview and it didn't specifically say however.

It said somewhere that cell phone service isn't good at the campground. Then Syler's adoptive mother said the Mexican man across from them that looked shady was on his phone all day and evening. How could he be on his phone all that time if the cell phone service was't good?

Here is an article...

"We are still in the process of trying to verify a call from the custodial mother to YCSO Sunday morning." Stated D'Evelyn of the YCSO. "Call phone reception is poor in the area and could have been a factor."

I thought I had read that. Thanks. So if reception is poor how did "Mexican guy" spend so much time on the phone?

Is this another "Zanny the nanny?"

Could have had a satelite phone which works better than a cell phone.

Did Tina use a cell to call the LE or a payphone?

Yes. In fact, I don't recall which station but one of the stations showed Angela showing up on scene and her hugging her sister.

Maybe that's why he was on the phone all day. He had to keep trying to get through. ?

It just seems that he must have been taken since the scent dogs only tracked him so far.
I can't tell if the confusing reports are bad reporting or the family not giving good information all along. This is really a mess. Poor baby, I wonder where he is?

Wow. Echoes of Susan Smith. IMO, she's lying. I may have to eat my words but there was something that seemed artificial, despite the appearance of actual tears. She barely looked up, kept looking down as she spoke, or her eyes looked downwards. Susan Smith did the same thing. Could not look up. Also, both blame a type of person that, in the area, many may have suspicion about. It's like crudely tapping into popular opinion/sentiment. The huge immigration issue and conveniently, this is the suspect.

(Respectfully snipped)- BBM

ITA! That was my first thought when I read that she said a "Mexican man" -- IIRC, Susan Smith lived in the deep south where a "Black" carjacker would draw a significant amount of the public's attention away from her and onto the racial issue as well. JMO, of course
