Charity sent an update on the Sylar facebook page that states the DNA sample sent to the lab wasn't enough to test so they had to send another sample and it will be another week before the results are back.

How unusual.

Not that I think anything weird is going on or such.

I just think that it's unusual is all. JMHO

Odd, indeed!

I agree Kat. You'd think they would send a large enough sample for testing. I agree... unusual!

These people have been doing this for a long time, they know what size samples they need to send in order to have the appropriate testing done... WTH! :waitasec:

Of course, this is coming from Charity... how much trust do we put into her information?

keeping this at the top......

So basically... It took them 34 days to collect a sample, send it to Utah and for Utah to determine it was not enough.

Yet, after that happens they are able to overnight another sample and have it done in a week??? Why didn't they just do that to begin with? :waitasec:

I have other thoughts...but I think that's enough for now.

Maybe they just wont release his body to her. She wouldnt tell Facebook that if it were the case. She wants the money to keep coming in.

I mean maybe they want all issues of custody cleared up first.

Just a guess because we know they would of send more DNA then they needed. I think it has to do with something else.

This case is definitely one for the record books ..... the custody issue will certainly play a big part in this sad saga. My cynical me is saying that the Sheriff is probably requesting that this whole story be kept well below the radar of the press.

I never saw where there was any realization of how important the children are?

However, I highly doubt it. I would imagine they are probably in the Arizona area as well since that is where she lived.

I was attempting to lightly make the point that they all seem to believe that Sylar was so important...(and of course he was)

So...if he was important...what about the other ones still living?

(warning snark attack coming)

Or are they only important if you can make money off of their memories? (/snark)

I wanted to believe the best out of the adults in this innocent child's life, but I haven't been able to find anything that can lead me in that direction.

Yeah, I had more in my response that would have made my point more clear too.... but I was hoping my name might make it clear enough in this case. :innocent:

I think that if one of the other kids had something come up, like a life threatening illness or something that needed fund raising... that child would become very important too. :twocents:

Until then, I think Sylar is the only one that really matters.

I think you hit the nail on the head! And I think that they are doing a very good job of it too. Its frustrating because I want to know what's going on, but on the other hand, at least when it comes to the custody issues of CP's biological children that began to stir up Sylar went missing it is a good thing. I'm praying that they are safe and doing as well can be expected with people who love them.

Those two are in a small town where everyone knows everything about each other. I can't even imagine what it is like being CP's child right now, especially since they were on the trip.

And school is starting up too... a whole bunch of media attention could make it worse as well as damage the case.

When the blank hits the fan it is going to be horrible. Let them have as much peace as they can now because it may only get worse.

CP's children were probably there more for Sylar than the majority of adults in his life.

But even if we can't get a run down on what they are doing, I wish that we could get more of a confirmation that CP is going to be arrested soon... Having faith is difficult sometimes when I look at everything Sylar went through... I don't want this to be one more instance where Sylar was let down.

absolutely crazy! they didn't send enough sample? I don't believe it for a minute! and it took them a month to determine it wasn't enough sample? hinky meter through the roof!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keeping fingers crossed that something will be known this week. I just find this too strange that so much media wise about Kyron and nothing in the media at all about this helpless 2 yr old's demise. There was so much released about Terri Horman and we hear no followup on CP or her mom at all ((far too odd from my point of view)).

I don't think it took them a month to determine it wasn't a sufficient sample.

I think it sat there waiting for a month for its turn to be examined. Once it was at the top of the queue, it was quickly determined that it wasn't enough.

Like I've said before, if we as citizens want these things to go faster, we have to be willing to pay for them. Higher taxes.

Not higher taxes. I live in my state's capital. There is incredible waste on things that should come after things like this. Less incredible waste and better usage. We should just let those politicians know WHAT we want our taxes spent on. They can raise taxes all they want and there would be no guarantee they would spend it in the "right" places. JMO
