Gotta agree with you there. I'd never even heard of this guy before this thread, and I have no clue who this Joren person is that you all seem to hate, but this guy in his sharp suit is not impressing me.
He's not the type of defense lawyer I admire. I can't really imagine him donating his time free of charge to help the Innocence Project, or helping some homeless guy who was accused of a crime he didn't commit. He's more the type who would charge the earth to free a serial killer and feel no conscience about it.

Answer - he doesn't know what the strategy was, this is his first day. But they have nothing to hide, they have hidden nothing, warts and all. They are eager to talk. Regarding wine, it shows her credibility, she is being truthful. She was willing to tell the truth even if it doesn't make herself look good.
