Baez Files 8 Motions In Case

Here it is broken down.

The motions are:

* Defense wants the state to release all records about its investigation into Zenaida Gonzalez.

* Defense wants Anthony - who is on home confinement - to be able to visit "key points of interest in the case" to help in the search for her daughter. Baez is requesting that her travels not be made public.

* Defense wants the Department of Children and Families - which did its own investigation into the child-neglect issue - to release its records.

* Defense wants to inspect the polygraph exams that have or will be given to anyone related to the case.

* Defense is asking for the flight manifest of Air Tran flight 862 that flew from Orlando to Atlanta on July 2. Someone reported seeing Caylee on the plane. (Investigators later located the child and the toddler was not Caylee.)

* Defense wants to the state to turn over results of forensic testing, including testing on traces of chloroform allegedly found in Anthony's car and any documentation about the air sample testing done at the Body Farm at the University of Tennessee. (Authorities reported the samples showed at some point there was a decomposing body in the trunk.)

* Defense wants to be able to inspect digital forensic evidence, such as computer hard drives, cell phones, SIM cards and media cards.

* Defense wants the state to stop testing and handling forensic evidence until the court rules on how the testing will proceed. --------

Could not agree more. There is no way you can compell evidence that concerns charges that have not been filed yet.

Funny thing about Casey's travel plans, they want the date and time and places to be concealed from the public..right. She had an opportunity to ride around with the detectives on the morning of the 16th of July..and lead them on a wild goose chase. If she knows where Caylee is then she just needs to tell someone..no need to run up the states bill on escorts etc

I agree. Doesn't JB realize that a mother of a REAL missing child doesn't keep all these secrets? No, they BEG for someone, anyone to broadcast pictures and tips around the world. They plead for attention - not for themselves, but for their lost child. Any tip that came in, any lead, no matter how small, is passed to LE and anyone who will listen so that somehow their child might be brought safely home. They would give anything for the kind of attention that Caylee's pictures and videos have gotten.

Casey is an idiot to even try this, but JB should know better. He just looks like an .

JB complains that LE 'successfully tried a homicide case against the defendant in public eye'. He wants every document which media and public has...no problem! GO AND READ ALL PUBLISHED documents/video/audio which 'public eye' has! it's free and available without any motions...what to complain about??

Regarding motion to allow Casey to freely travel, guess what? if it would be up to me, I would allow this with only one correction: THE DATE AND TIME OF SUCH TRAVEL WILL BE MADE PUBLIC!!!! And we'll see how far she'll travel 'inconditionally'...

So what do you all think Baez's chance is of getting this information? If he had a right to it, wouldn't LE have given it to him? Does he have a right to all this info? It does seem like he would have a right to the DCF info since it is a neglect case and the trial is next month.

I believe, it's standard procedure and he will get it (at some point). At least, what pertains to the charges and will be used in court. I'm sure he will try to get whatever he can tossed out and attempt to put holes in the rest. I doubt the other motion goes through...travel to places of interest. Who knows.

I think with JB pushing for all the info we may see murder charges sooner rather than later.

I think he's showing his ignorance again. Seems like most of these docs deal with charges to come, not charges filed. And I don't think he can get the stuff that deals with an ongoing investigation. And the ZG docs? Wonder why he thinks the OCSO will help he in a civil case???

I'm not sure how long the court has to respond, but I know the prosecutor can drag it out at times. Heck, in the Edwin Hall case (which I distantly followed) the defense even lied...kept claiming they didn't receive it and other nonsense. In the end, a final copy of the tape was made in court. I'm not sure about the travel, but otherwise his client is entitled to all of this. The trial is set for November and they have to turn these materials over in a timely manner. Even if she is not going to be tried for murder, she has been tried by LE in the media and her attorney wants to see what, if any, facts actually back up what they are purporting to disclose.

Also wanted to throw in my two cents on this...JB sure is concerned with the media, huh? He bad mouths them at every chance he gets! They are only entitled to evidence for charges filing regarding neglect and theft. They are not entitled to evidence for charges not filed yet for possible homicide.... so it depends on the charges as to what defense is entitled to

This is really rich! Motion to Compel the flight manifest from that tipster! Motion to allow little Ms. KC to go to places of interest! Maybe she can join us on Team Equusearch and point out where she dumped Caylee! Ridiculous!!!
