Baez files motion for JG DNA report showing he's not the father 1/28/09

  • #61
He is trying to plant a seed of doubt and give JG a motive for murdering Caylee. A heart broken ex lover trying to set up his ex! Anyone but Casey did it right!

Things must be sloooooooooooooooow on the "Casey is Innocent Tipline".

  • #63
So he has moved from RM and the chloroform thing, to JG and the paternity thing, let's see who is next?

  • #64
Probably only trying to get JG's DNA.

Trying to jitter the press a bit I guess.

Headline: Can JG DNA be tied to crime scene?

They are beginning to run out of stories anyway. For the meantime.

That was my first thought...

Oh, I forgot about the tipline! Picture me running to the phone to make a call. He, he.

Drawing a blank here. Even with a great imagination, I still just can't see it.

Of course it's a waste of time, but not so unexpected given the attempt FROM DAY ONE by all the A's to incriminate others. They already well know for real world reasons other than DNA testing that JG is not Caylee's father. So I think they just want his DNA, to compare to various things, aren't really entitled to get it, or are too lazy and/or cheap to go through proper channels to try. I have always wondered and worried about why KC was dragging JG back into her life around the time Caylee went/was "missing," and about her mystery shower visits. Maybe she had a plan to try to incriminate him. Who knows.

I'm sure you can't. LOL

Maybe I should take the word picture out of it.

Good call Radio. Total media grandstanding to deflect attention.

Back-firing though isn't it? :D More motions he files, more likelihood Ms. Thang will have to be in court - a lot.

OK, people, here's what I predict: I think that the reason JB is requesting JG's DNA test isn't to see if he's actually not related to Caylee, it's to create reasonable doubt based on the type of the DNA test used! Lest we not forget that it was wonderful Dr. Henry Lee that helped to get OJ Simpson off on murder 1 charges! If I remember correctly, it was Dr. Lee that suggested it was the type of DNA testing done that proved reasonable doubt based on the fact that several thousand people in California alone shared similar markers. I sure hope the FBI used several different methods to test every single bit of trace evidence, otherwise good ol' Dr. Lee will have another notch in his respective lab belt! I've been wondering how and why JB pulled Dr. Lee onto their team - now I know...to create reasonable doubt! I also thought of something that's easily disgusting...what about if the State of Florida is actually paying for Dr. Lee? I found a loophole in their law that says such things could be done, but then I heard that Dr. Lee is pro bono...so not sure about that. I honestly hope they (FBI & OCSO + JG's lab) didn't use PCR, because if they did, KC could very well walk. I personally haven't respected this Dr. since OJ's trial...and now I loathe him even more...but that's beside the point! It is my understanding that JB contracted Dr. Lee before this case became high profile...but it had the potential to become high profile nationwide. This would draw a HUGE audience - alot of money to be made! It's made me sick since day one! Keep in mind that these so-called experts might not make any $ during the trial, but they stand to make millions in interviews, book deals, expert panelists, etc. after the trial.!:furious:

That's ok....KC will be in the slammer the whole time. She's going to start to go postal on him here soon, just you wait. She's thinking that she's going be acquitted and if he puts this trial off too long she's going to start whining.

HEY! That's what I was gonna say! You took the words right out of my mouth, dude!

She will be in Court. The public demands it. Public has found a Queen! roflmao

Maybe he is not looking to verify whether or not Caylee is JG's daughter. Maybe he is looking for a backdoor way to tie him to any of the likely crime scenes or some of the evidence.

I don't think KC will let him get away with dragging it out too long. While it may be beneficial to the defense, KC will no doubt want to get out and start living La Bella Vida.

KC is living the good life right now, this is the best place she will ever be. She has grown accustomed to her "room" and doesn't want to leave. He is doing his best to keep her there. She will put up a fit if they move her. :behindbar

Although I doubt that Baez is going to win on this new DNA motion, if he DOES prevail, it might provide some interesting insight to see those DNA results.

We already KNOW the DNA results.

He's trying to deflect and stall. OJ's team did the same thing, but they were much, much better at it.

As long as he delays until she goes into menopause, and can't have any more kids. I'm happy.

Jersey Girl as I recall...regarding paying experts: In the SP case, the experts were paid by the county because Geragos was also a pro bono. He declared to the court, "Yes, I am pro bono but did not want to go broke". The court paid 227,000 to experts which they didn't have but one ( I think) take the stand.

Sounds to me like JB doesn’t want to have to pay for a DNA test from Caylee's remains so he wants the report that was given to OCSO that has the information. Free. He can't very well try to say it wasn't Caylee in the trunk of the car if he doesn’t have his own DNA results. Since the prosecutors have only the one hair that was tested and it was all used for that test JB can argue that the test was not right and try to get it thrown out of court.
No death band hair evidence allowed from the car trunk gives him more wiggle room for him to bring reasonable doubt into play to say Casey didn't do it.

IMO as far as forensics that we know of right now his biggest hurdle is the car trunk. Casey's car, Caylee's hair in car, decomp in trunk of car.

He has the test results that LE did.

Sounds right to me. A second issue may be the paternity question. With this test JG was ruled out, but I'll bet JB would like to know who the father is and IF it ends up being a certain person that others have speculated about, IMO JB would have no problem "going there".

JB HAS all the DNA test results that LE collected, under discovery.

Again, paternity by Santa Clause wouldn't even be an issue. The father, whomever he is, didn't do it.
