Well now that is actually a smart move because now they can use the fact that Kronk called the police as early as August to show that OCSO bungled the recovery of the body, and could have had her much sooner if only they had taken RK's calls seriously.

He is actually an asset to their case, can't believe they were stupid enough to alienate him by accusing him in the first place. It may just be too little too late to mend that bridge however.

I don't think the defense will go that route, because if they do, they will be admiting that Caylee had been there since August and a lot of their defense strategy is trying to show that the body was not there until AFTER KC was arrested in October. I think they will stay as far away from that issue as they can. If they suddenly go down this road, then all the time and money spent on contacting the searchers was a 'waste, a huge waste'.

“The defense had until today to ask Chief Judge Belvin Perry to bring those accusations against Kronk into the trial so a jury could hear them. It did not happen,” WFTV’s Kathi Belich reported last night.

WFTV evidently hadn’t talked to Baez, but based its story on the deadline. Or maybe Baez wouldn’t talk to WFTV; he has shown disdain for the station’s reporting.

Ah yes but zanny or other unknown could have placed her there...I think it's their best bet because it keeps one toe in reality and they can throw some shade on ocso, even if Casey is theoretically innocent the search was not a waste as she needed to be found. But yes agree they may go the route of saying someone placed her there later....nuts either way. A plea would have been her best bet, anything other than that is doomed to backfire badly IMO.

When Baez said, he wanted to wait to get a little closer to trial, His Honor said, he had only until December 23rd to bring that motion in and he suspects Mr. Ashton would object with a motion of his own. Maybe Baez doesn't understand or maybe he just doesn't follow orders (we all know he hasn't followed orders), as I call him, a Rogue Attorney...if he goes this route, he will surely bring in a guilty verdict. I don't see how RK connects to the imaginannny, a tale she is stuck with. How can Baez move from the imagainanny to the hero who was determined enough to "help find Caylee"...ExOfficer Caine, should not have brushed this off. Had he done his job back in August, there would be no RK theory...how insulting to this man...and as the old saying goes, No good deed goes unpunished...JMHO

I just read it over again. I think what he cannot longer due is introduce Kronks "prior bad acts." In theory, he can still argue that Kronk was responsible for putting Caylee there. :waitasec:
Not sure who would believe him but his crazy enough to try it just to for spite.

The Deadline for the Defense to introduce the Kronk motion has

PASSED

It it becoming, as Jeff Ashton stated, crystal clear that Judge Perry's DEADLINES mean nothing to Mr Baez and Mr Mason.

I hope we will be hearing from Mr Kronk's attorney on this matter.

And how is going to do that WITHOUT bringing prior bad acts in? Dress Casey up like a nun and point at Kronk and say, "He's a bad man! He did it! Not my sweet, innocent Casey! Acquit her because this bad man did it!"

That's about all he has without the prior bad acts. Seriously. He has nothing to go after Kronk with. And he would be destroying his other strategy of Caylee not being dumped until after Casey was in jail. He cannot go after Kronk in court. He is just blowing more smoke out of his butt as usual. It's not working, Baez.

Oh, right, the famous "100% percent" statement. He also said Casey was 100% innocent. Funny, he doesn't say that anymore. Yep, this is definitely more smoke and mirrors.

And I, too, hope Kronk's attorney makes a statement about this.

What I find so interesting and "quite frankly" nauseating about this soundbite is that JB actually felt the need to reassure us that Kronk is still in his ever expanding bag of "sacrificial lambs".

His comment on this topic is "quite frankly" not even newsworthy. What it is is nothing but an opportunity to be juvenile and "quite frankly" downright hateful.

Coal for your stocking Mr. Baez. A big fat lump of it with licorice on top.

I think we are going to see a lot more of this - and by this I mean this petty spirited sulky brat poor sport routine Baez pulls whenever he doesn't complete something in a timely manner and he is embarrassed or if he get caught at one of silly attempts to be underhanded.

I apologize..dont have a link right now..but I am just listening to JVM right now talking with Jose P. who is suggesting no one wants to touch Kronk because what really lead him to that site!!..Jose (P.) is saying he got his info from a girlfriend who worked at the jail..who heard gossip in the jail..that pointed to Kayee's location....Fine line..will watch for link....Interesting development :great:..

Yes, I agree - I haven't had much patience for him this past year, and I think I'll be downright rude about him in the New Year. The guy is a windbag and a buffoon in front of the cameras - I don't understand why he can't see that for himself when he watches his own clips - and we know he does.

I would tend to believe you..but it sure would explain why Baez is dragging his heels on his motion regarding Kronk...Time will only tell I guess..I cant wait for this trial to begin..:blushing:
