Oh you heard correctly...it was the Nelson Serrano case in which Chaney Mason was co-council.

Another question I have is "Who paid for the filing?"

Id like to know that one too!
Inquiring minds want t know?

Do you guys really want more? Do you want the commentary? Since the only way I will know you want it, is to do the click thanks to this post - we shall do it that way again! If I get 12.5 thanks, I will upload more! LOL

Thank you Junkie for your work for us, it is appreciated. I would have thanked your post but then I figured I would be the 12.5 poster and then you would be uploading/downloading/unloading whatever, because of me and I just can't stomach any more JB today.
Thank you again!

How many of KC's 20 something friends do you think will now get on the stand and say what a good mother she is? At 18, 19, 20 years of age most people do not know that much about raising children. Ask the same age group why they were friends with her while she was stealing them blind, lying to them about her job, college, etc. and see what type of answer you get. "We did not know she was like that. That's not the KC we knew." There you have it. Thieves do not always reveal themselves as thieves but as best friends. Murders do not run an ad in the Sunday paper. jmo

None of them had any idea!

Till after the fact!

OT but if KC gets convicted can she have conjigal visits?

Thank you for saying that. That is what I have believed all along and haven't seen anything so far to change my mind. I think Casey's relationship with her mother is going to be brought up and more than once. The only problem with that is that I think Cindy was strict, not abusive.

I remember reading that Cindy came home and found Casey with Jesse Grund lying on her bed watching TV. They were fully clothed and had Caylee laying on the bed with them. Cindy thought that 'inappropriate' and a kicked him out.

I think the 'family dynamics', specifically Casey and Cindy's relationship will play a big role in her defense.

I think they wanted to use the fear factor for George not blame him for Caylee's death, that would be way too outrageous for even this DT. CA the heart broken one.

I think cindy and George were more afraid of KC then KC was of them.
They were afraid to say NO to her!
Im sure KC was the boss!

I also think G and C will do and say anything to save their daughter.

I listened to part of the InSession interview and had to stop. If JB goes into trial and tries to describe this as "KC's tragedy", the jury is going to hate him and her both! I am appalled that he said that and will not listen to another word out of his mouth! This is a tragedy, but it is CAYLEE'S tragedy! Not KC's! KC is where she should be! Caylee is NOT! MHO!

Don't worry over nothing.

If there was a damn good, believable reason, he'd have vomited it all over the media by now.

He's just blowing hot air, IMO.

More like blowing CO2, :waiting: Any normal person would have passed out:rolleyes:

I get that In Session has to suck up to JB for future contacts, but this only makes the interviewers and commentators appear out of touch or ignorant about this case.

I DARE THEM to ask what happened to the $275,000. Why isn't Henry Lee testifying? Why have you ignored court orders?

My mom used to say first "consider the source". So lets do that for a moment shall we! Jose could not be accepted to the BAR for the way he personally conducted his life. I really don't want advice or opinions on mothering from a louse that didn't pay child support... oh yes, but drove an expensive, imported sports car, and maintained an elite health club membership (gotta love that one). A man (I use that term loosely) that WROTE BAD CHECKS himself (no wonder he has such an affinity for his client) and doesn't pay his bills! Okay! I think I'll listen to my dear, departed mother and consider the source- first and foremost!

If only the state could have agreed to a stipulation with the DT on prior bad acts. RK vs. JB :great:

Of course we know JB wouldn't keep his end of the agreement.

Wow! I am dumbfounded by Jose's remark...."When things get rough, sit down and practice law"! Seriously? Really? Jose practice law? He gets schooled in the court room every single day!

Evidently Jose hasn't practiced enough law since he is still being schooled on the subject! :furious:

Indeed, THE IRONY IS RICH!!!!

Christi Paul asked JB how he feels about "kicking this trial off".

is this a football game and someone forgot to tell me?? Perhaps Click and Park will handle traffic.

Even if all these things JB states in this interview were true :floorlaugh:, how can he blame the DA & general public for their opinion of his client......after all we have yet to hear that aha moment.....that explaination of why his client did not report her baby missing (among many, many, many other things). To say that he feels his client is being misunderstood by both the system and the public is a joke....has he never sat down & thought about the known facts!?:waitasec:

I have a feeling we are about to experience another Defense Team Mediapalooza Tour. I wonder if the Anthony's will be performing too?

The only word that comes to mind is nauseating. I can respect a lawyer saying I will defend my client to the best of my ability, my client is innocent, or something akin to that...but this mornings choked up, holding back tears interview made me sick to my stomach and want to shower.

Is JB still married? Geez, doesn't his wife think it's odd that he gets choked up when talking about ICA. I think JB is the one with post tramatic stress disorber from being around ICA for too long. I'm sorry, don't think it's normal for him to get all choked up. They have had to have done the deed before she was put in jail is all I can say. Those 6 hours a day she hung out at his office. I think she was paying him in advance. JB is not thinking with the head on his shoulders obviously. makes me want to puke too. He needs physiatric help if you ask me.

I would double dog dare them!

LOL MissJames - I am only listening to these tapes out of respect for A_News_Junkie who takes the trouble to upload them for us....

But I guffawed at Jose's remarks about going out for dinner with his staff and all chit chatting about how many people could come up with what it costs for a murder trial - too funny that what's her name didn't immediately bring up the fact that it was true, not too many defendants could get ABC to cough up $250,000.00 for pics the murderer took of her victim. :worms:

Not too swift there Baez. And several posters said they think he sounds "emotional" - to me he sounds like he is barely hanging on from having a huge temper tantram. I have that same wobble in my voice when I am so angry I want to punch someone, but have to put on a pleasant face to finish whatever meeting I am in.....:slapfight:

He must be truly teed off at all us overweight no life bloggers cheering cause we thought for one deliriously happy moment that ICA wanted to turf him out the door. :skip:

ps Baez - lurved your comments about Furton - you doofus!

HHJP asked everyone during the hearings not to discuss the testimonies that were being given. This was last month and may have been about the motions regarding not letting KC's statements in. This was when CA, GA, Yuri were all testifying. Not sure it pertains to the Frye hearings and those continue tomorrow. But this motion has nothing to do with Frye. Dr. Furton was asked by SA if he had watched Dr. Vass' testimony so it is possible it still applies from here on out as far as anyone testifying at these hearings.

I do remember hearing some discussion in last weeks hearing about witnesses not watching other witnesses testimony and asking if he had. Before that was the sequestration for George and Cindy, the motion they filed. I think in all criminal cases the witnesses are told not to discuss their testimony with anyone but isn't considered a gag order. The jury cannot either while the trial is going on, sequestered or not but they can after the trial.
