So Baez was driving down the highway while he was being interviewed on national television? He should have gotten a ticket for sure. Or is it still legal in Florida to drive while talking on your cell?

Either way it shows how he does things half-arsed. No wonder he sounded so distracted.

Is JB still married? Geez, doesn't his wife think it's odd that he gets choked up when talking about ICA. I think JB is the one with post tramatic stress disorber from being around ICA for too long. I'm sorry, don't think it's normal for him to get all choked up. They have had to have done the deed before she was put in jail is all I can say. Those 6 hours a day she hung out at his office. I think she was paying him in advance. JB is not thinking with the head on his shoulders obviously. makes me want to puke too. He needs physiatric help if you ask me.

Right along with CA and GA. Maybe they can get a discount on therapy for a group rate. I keep telling myself that they can't possibly believe Casey is not responsible because no one is that unintelligent. Therefore, they have to believe it was an accident and the whole went in shock scenario to explain her little miss happy pants behavior.

I don't think he was driving at all, but was sitting at home and, from the sound of it, had not had his first Red Bull of the day.

If you listen closely you can hear Florida mockingbirds singing in the background. They do this very early in the morning while sitting in trees such as those around my backyard patio.

I think the questions about JBP started to scare JB and he quickly exited the stage door.

I'm thinking Baez may go right into KC "being afraid of Cindy" excuse for the 31 days...and even bring up that alleged famous fight that pretty much everyone in the family denies. Everyone, that is except for Casey. I'm pretty sure that's what Casey was referring to in jail when she told her mother, "Don't worry...I haven't said anything." Baez will probably go into excruciating detail about Cindy choking and threatening her. He will then probably go on and on about how Casey did not feel safe in the house, feared for the safety of her daughter, and had to take Caylee into "hiding" because of the volatile atmosphere of that house. He'll probably throw in George's habits, too, just for good measure so that the jury can hear just how horrible that home was and how Casey had no option but to leave the only home she knew. At this point it wouldn't even surprise me if their "defense" picture may include a mercy killing by Casey in order to save her from her abusive grandparents.

If Baez tries to blame this on her home life, there was a very simple remedy for Casey. Get a J O B and move out. She was a legal adult when Caylee was born and free to live wherever she pleased. It was ICA's obligation as Caylee's mother to protect her if she felt GA/CA would abuse Caylee. ICA left Caylee with GA/CA often so she could simply hang out with friends...hardly the actions of a mother in fear of her daughter's abusive grandparents.

ICA had a job before Caylee was born and her boss thought highly of her, even putting her in some sort of management training. It may not have been the glamorous, well-paying job she wanted everyone to believe she had but it sounded pretty good for her education level.

I think once Caylee was born, ICA saw her as her meal ticket. A free ride because CA wouldn't kick Caylee out. She had a built in babysitter and people to steal from. She never had to buy a thing for Caylee...not even one diaper.

I hope Baez tries to convince a jury that ICA had a terrible home life. The SAs will have a field day with that because I think the jury will be made up of people who are either working or retired from many years of working. Stay at home moms will never relate to ICA constantly dumping Caylee off with anyone who would watch her simply because she didn't want to be bothered.

I think the jurors will all have the same question, if things were so bad, why not get a job? Why not go back to Universal where she had a job waiting for her after maternity leave? She wasn't fired for bad performance, she simply never showed up for work again.

What I heard Baez say a number of times is:

........"I'M JUST GOING TO DO MY BEST"...................

That is what is called Defeatist Language - Baez to me is clearly saying - "I'm just going to do my best" (Even though I know I will not win this case)

He did not say, "I'm just going to do my best and we will win this case."

He did not say, "My client is innocent, and I will do my best and prove it."

He did not say, "My client will win this case because she is innocent."

He did not say. "I will win this case. My client is innocent."

Epic Fail Mr. Baez - but that's okay - we've come to expect it from you.

I thought he was going to start crying...pitiful. Poor Casey, she is so misunderstood by everyone. Yes, I'll bet ole Jose has been as close to Casey as Caylee ever was and ya know what I'm talking about! Why does he think spending time in Casey and Caylee's bedrooms tells him how close the two were??? He has some of the strangest ideas. And as far as explaining away Casey not calling 911 at all and them only getting called 31 days later when her family called 911. There is no explaination for heavens sake.

She even went as far as to keep LE from investigating by first stating her mother was crazy and paranoid then the made up phone call proving Caylee was safe. Oh ok, Casey if you say so.

I heard that too....and for a minute thought they were outside my window.

Maybe JB drives around with birds in his car to scare away the squirrels.
