I'm trying to work up the interest to comment on Baez's In Sessions blah blah - but - :sick: - all I can say is if Baez is getting choked up - it's because he knows he is going to lose - and lose BAD....

Wesh stating an inmate wrote to judge - jb thinks he is mentally disturbed (curtis jackson inmate from michigan) asking jb to be removed from defense team. jb saying media didn't check their facts before reporting.

curtis j has written about this case - he has never had any connection to this case, we have had this problem - a couple reporters pick this up and run with it. i have never had a story come up with in session without having someone from your station checking with me.

clarify: you are not stepping down from this case and kc has not asked you to do so
jb: not a shred of truth in this

jb: people on the out side of this case who have no knowledge put pressure on me - a long time ago i made the decision when things get a little rough - just sit down and practice law.

jb: i can tell you this about kc, the words people using to describe her - they don't know her who make these assumptions based upon what other people are saying. kc is intelligent and kind person. it is a shame not only what has been done to her but the system who have prejudged without giving anyone the benefit of the doubt. this is supposed to be the greatest system in the world and it is not living up to it as far as i am concerned.

jb the care and love she had for her daughter, i spent many hours with kc, spent time in kc and caylee's room, i've been as close as you can get to this mother and daughter relationship

First we demonized the detectives who tirelessly looked for Caylee; didn't work obviously; then we went after the detectives trying to get KCs statement out and in so doing said everything KC did had to have made them suspicious - which is it JB? and now that the trial is nearing, we are going to demonize the system. He is so predictable.

AFter viewing the jailhouse videos, it is clear that she wasn't afraid of any family member. The jury won't fall for that. Once the jury hears about the numbers of hours spent on her cell phone talking and texting, it will also be clear that there was no time left for her to be a mother, good or otherwise.

Everything and anything is going to be reported in this case. This is an inmate who is mentally challenged and there is nothing to it, imo.

HAHA!!! He sure did. He still tries to maintain that this case is different, special, even. He has tried to paint LE, SA, RK as bad guys. Yet, he wants us believe his client is a kind, caring MOTY? He is predictable and only comes across as having the worst judge of character on earth.

I'm thinking Baez may go right into KC "being afraid of Cindy" excuse for the 31 days...and even bring up that alleged famous fight that pretty much everyone in the family denies. Everyone, that is except for Casey. I'm pretty sure that's what Casey was referring to in jail when she told her mother, "Don't worry...I haven't said anything." Baez will probably go into excruciating detail about Cindy choking and threatening her. He will then probably go on and on about how Casey did not feel safe in the house, feared for the safety of her daughter, and had to take Caylee into "hiding" because of the volatile atmosphere of that house. He'll probably throw in George's habits, too, just for good measure so that the jury can hear just how horrible that home was and how Casey had no option but to leave the only home she knew. At this point it wouldn't even surprise me if their "defense" picture may include a mercy killing by Casey in order to save her from her abusive grandparents.

Afraid of Cindy. I know she told police that too. Isn't it ironic that the very person she was so AFRAID of is now her biggest advocate? I mean really, what did Cindy do when her darling daughter did the unthinkable? NOTHING. Except forgive her.

JB: significant differences between your normal murder case and a case like this, every step you take is over anaylzed
dealing with 1,000 pages of discovery and we are way over on that

Sunny H: so many Atty's have voluteered their time, Judge has made sure she is being represented effectively probably more so than any other defendant. thinks kc can get a fair trial.

In the August 14th video, where KC goes nuts on the phone, in the very beginning if you watch KC closely, George begins talking and after a while he says here is your mother and if you watch KCs face, she is disgusted with her mother. It is evident and clear that KC feels her mother did not care about her and cared only for Caylee and, imo, is saying with her expression, "how do you like it". It is fast and she composes quickly but it is there. Cindy is basically falling apart as KC looks at her with pretty much disgust.

Thank you for saying that. That is what I have believed all along and haven't seen anything so far to change my mind. I think Casey's relationship with her mother is going to be brought up and more than once. The only problem with that is that I think Cindy was strict, not abusive.

I remember reading that Cindy came home and found Casey with Jesse Grund lying on her bed watching TV. They were fully clothed and had Caylee laying on the bed with them. Cindy thought that 'inappropriate' and a kicked him out.

I think the 'family dynamics', specifically Casey and Cindy's relationship will play a big role in her defense.
