The thing that is SO odd to me about this interview is how personal he is about her character. Like he is vouching for her. I don't think I have ever EVER heard a defense attorney do this about his murder-defendant client.

To me it is way beyond the ususal my-client-didn't do-it or the-state-cannot prove-its-case. He is more about trust me, I know her and she is a GOOD PERSON. No she isn't. Even is she were innocent of this particular crime, she is not a good person.

It is very, very, weird to me.

They are making this look like some big national event! GMAB This is about a sociopath who murdered her daughter and about her family who has tried to cover for her after the initial shock wore off. I don't know why.....but that has me very aggravated.

Wesh stating an inmate wrote to judge - jb thinks he is mentally disturbed (curtis jackson inmate from michigan) asking jb to be removed from defense team. jb saying media didn't check their facts before reporting.

curtis j has written about this case - he has never had any connection to this case, we have had this problem - a couple reporters pick this up and run with it. i have never had a story come up with in session without having someone from your station checking with me.

Just need a moment to vent before I go back and read the thread...but I heard Baez say on HLN that WE-the public- misunderstand the love Casey had for her child?! I know Baez isn't so quick on his feet, but what kind of whacked out statement is that? How does one misunderstand the love a parent has for their child? What WE-the public- don't understand is how one kills a child they supposedly love...end statement!

I am going to BET that Jose Baez breaks down in tears at least 10 times during this trial. The man needs to get a grip and quick! Casey is not special! She is not different. Murders happen every day! People with a heck of a lot less money than Casey was able to obtain have had to go to trial for murder and have had to face the death penalty!

Yes, Jose, you are incompentent and with any luck, your incompetence will get Casey another trial and the Florida taxpayers will have to pay for another set of lawyers to defend her at another trial with the same results! Under your guidance, Casey is going to get the death penalty. If you even for ONE SECOND try and make this trial about Casey being the victim and about her tragedy... you will get her the death penalty!
