Ya know, maybe we should start a "TOT-isms" dictionary in the basement. For all words made up by anyone related to this case. I refuse to KC or defense the title, but in memory of Caylee a tot who should be in Kindergarden, we could call them TOT-isms. They will interrupt an interview with a grieving parent whose child was molested and murdered ,just to play another commercial for The World's Dumbest Criminals. :maddening:

THIS IS SOOOOOOOOOO TRUE. They will cut off riveting testimony or interviews with victims but today -- they stayed with the 'exclusive call' and the segment after he hung up was only 4 mins and they had to make up the commercials. I HAVE NEVER ever (and I come from court tv days forward) seen them stay on the air this long. And for what? A phone call from jb whining about the media (except them, of course) and tooting his own horn. His horn is as full of delusion as his client, IMHO.

Just a final thought - not necessarily related, but if you plant a seed and toss it a little water it will sprout. :spring:

After watching the In Session interview, I had to post.
JB says that he is going to explain the 31 days in the first minute of his opening statement. Now I have sat here and racked my brain as to what exactly he could say that would have 12 jurors believe him. Trying to be neutral here, I honestly can't think of one thing he could say. Some have mentioned that she was told by the "real" kidnappers not to speak...... I can't believe that a MOTHER would not tell SOMEONE....even if it was her friend (and told the friend that she couldn't go to the police)
What I'm trying to say is, can anyone come up with a reason that would be believable? I just don't think that there is one when you look at her behaviour during that time. And even if there was one, why all the BS and lies once Caylee was reported missing.

Just need a moment to vent before I go back and read the thread...but I heard Baez say on HLN that WE-the public- misunderstand the love Casey had for her child?! I know Baez isn't so quick on his feet, but what kind of whacked out statement is that? How does one misunderstand the love a parent has for their child? What WE-the public- don't understand is how one kills a child they supposedly love...end statement!

Wesh stating an inmate wrote to judge - jb thinks he is mentally disturbed (curtis jackson inmate from michigan) asking jb to be removed from defense team. jb saying media didn't check their facts before reporting.

curtis j has written about this case - he has never had any connection to this case, we have had this problem - a couple reporters pick this up and run with it. i have never had a story come up with in session without having someone from your station checking with me.

clarify: you are not stepping down from this case and kc has not asked you to do so
jb: not a shred of truth in this

jb: people on the out side of this case who have no knowledge put pressure on me - a long time ago i made the decision when things get a little rough - just sit down and practice law.

jb: i can tell you this about kc, the words people using to describe her - they don't know her who make these assumptions based upon what other people are saying. kc is intelligent and kind person. it is a shame not only what has been done to her but the system who have prejudged without giving anyone the benefit of the doubt. this is supposed to be the greatest system in the world and it is not living up to it as far as i am concerned.

jb the care and love she had for her daughter, i spent many hours with kc, spent time in kc and caylee's room, i've been as close as you can get to this mother and daughter relationship

Now that just creeps me out, right there. He spent many hours with KC and spent time in their bedroom. It sounds like something a hero worshiper would do. jmo

Okay, your toddler has 'gone missing.' Give me plausible reasons for not seeking help from Law Enforcement.

1. Number One reason, of course, would be that you yourself were responsible and do not want them involved.

2. OR the responsible party is a loved one that you want to cover for.

3. OR the responsible party is someone you are frightened of, and so you say nothing.

4. OR, the responsible party convinces you that no harm will come to your child so you can go about your business.

5. OR you do not really care about finding your kid so you ignore the situation and have a good time.

6.OR you are in such a state of shock that you behave in an 'ugly coping' manner and give a false impression of yourself.

7. OR, the famous one, " I was going to handle it myself."

Any other 'plausible' explanations?

To this day I can remember feeling as if time had stopped and the whole world was spinning around me but the only thing that I could verbalize was I wanted to call the police, I wanted help.
My beautiful daughter was sound asleep under her bed. Who looks under beds????
The point is, no matter if someone tells you not to tell, a Mother wants only the best for her child and if that child is missing, a Mother wants LE. They are the experts. There is no way JB is going to convince a jury otherwise.

It defies logic that a mother would not go for help. It's a natural instinct to protect your child. This instinct is in humans and in animals. JB can't say KC learned this behavior within her own home, because look at CA. She will do anything to save her daughter, anything. Even deep down CA knows it is a lost cause she still continues to try. jmo

EXACTLY!!! I've thought about if there is anything at all in the whole world that could possibly explain the 31 days being in the slightest way Innocent. There isn't. That's been the problem from the get-go. KC will never get around that.

I've also tried to imagine meetings with KC and her attorneys, and wonder what sort of brainstorming they must do. I can only think of the Pathological Liar from Saturday Night Live--- "Yeah...that's the ticket!"
