I think R had reason to be fearful. Imagine when he learned she put a hit on his life! She's serious and he surely knows it.
A mole snapped the photos. Seems everyone here has a different suspect for the mole: the bf bartender, the hitman, anonymous friend, ect

Sources say the bombshell snaps were taken just hours after Robert Shiver, 38, blocked his estranged wife from boarding their private plane to fly to the Caribbean to visit her new boyfriend.
After jetting into the Abaco Islands on July 16 without her, Robert headed to local nightspot Grabbers, where S's new beau TABethel, 28, worked behind the bar.

Unfortunately, people misuse the 911 system for non-emergency calls all the time. They could actually be charged with a misdemeanor for doing so, but IME that rarely happens. A lady on the TV show On Patrol Live (the old Live PD) called 911 because a restaurant wouldn’t let her return a pizza that was more than half eaten and refund her money. People call about a neighbor’s cat being in their yard or because their child swore at them. You name it, they’ll call about it. It’s ridiculous.

There are facts missing in the many reports about this case that may be very bad facts for LS imo.
She had a trip planned for "3 months or more" to Key West with her bf and according to the body cam, she called it off the night before to go to the Bahamas instead. Why? And, yet the first thing she tells LE (in this bodycam) is "We had travel plans..." This is not true according to Robert who recounted the true version of events later in this footage which LS notably does not dispute. HE had plans to take the kids to the Bahamas. SHE had plans to jet off to Key West with her BF.
She had been going back and forth to the Bahamas for many months to see this guy so if this murder-for-hire plot was actually in place, logic would dictate that much of the planning probably took place in person between the co-conspirators.
Did she get on the plane? I know LE recommended they separate but could not order her to stay off the plane. I'm guessing Robert (who appears imo to take great pains to always make sure he is on the right side of things with her) relented and let her join. Moo But when he first told her no she took the kids suitcases hostage and locked them in her car? Is that right?
Flying commercial or chartering a separate plane seems like it would have been a very easy thing for this woman of substantial means to do but it appears that she thought being on the plane with him was important. Important to the (eventual and intended) story?
Speculation only, I think the flash drive was part of the plan - a set up/plant so it would later look like a stalker killed him maybe? And, what of the timely break-in at Grabbers for which her BF is a suspect but not charged? Woman, lover charged in plot to kill husband - Bahamas Court News
Was it successful? Was money actually stolen from the safe and if so, was it intended to be used as payment for this hit?

Horrific imo.
"Lindsay alleges in the civil suit that her husband’s acts of domestic violence have physically injured her and she no longer feels safe inside the home. She said she had installed locks on the interior doors of the home for protection, but that has not stopped Robert from abusing Lindsay both physically, mentally and emotionally in front of the children."
If untrue (I'm leaning this way for sure, opinion only) she has (and others who have done this) have done a great injustice to women everywhere who actually do suffer at the hands of a physically abusive spouse or SO. There should be consequences for this. Start with charging her with perjury for lying in her papers (if they can prove no abuse or alternatively find evidence of her consciously admitting she lied).

86(3)(a) is interesting
"Whoever abets a crime shall, if the crime is not actually committed, be punishable as follows, that is to say —
(a) if the commission of the crime is prevented by reason only of accident, or of circumstances or events independent of the will of the abettor, the abettor shall, where the crime abetted was murder, be liable to imprisonment for life, or shall, where the crime abetted was any crime other than murder, be punishable in the same manner as if the crime had been actually committed in pursuance of the abetment;
This seems like the happenstance of the bar robbery uncovering this plot will be important to not only proving the case, but to sentencing too. As if the law assumes that he would have been killed but-for the accidental discovery (through the separate and independent burglary investigation) and so, they are to be sentenced as if they had succeeded in carrying it out. And, it seems like the court has the discretion to give potential life if proven but can hear evidence on mitigating factors.

I disagree with her assessment that Robert is manipulating behind the scenes by his calls to LE. My read on those calls (opinion only) is Robert trying to create a record to protect himself against what he thought to be further unfounded and baseless (in his opinion) allegations.

He indicates in the February 20th call (linked starting at 7:15) that she was in the Bahamas that weekend, had just come back and it sounds like he's realizing there are big red flags waving. She gets back and immediately cuts off his phone. The fact that she was gone again, returns and does this perhaps gives him a sense she is escalating. He needed to go back to the house but clearly didn't trust what she'd "claim" if he went on his own so he wanted a LE escort to bear witness.
That's what it sounds like to me. The more details like this that come out the more I am beginning to think this was not an impulsive move. It was a plan.

Earlier I criticized some of the 911 calls we've heard as they seemed unnecessary and perhaps could have been handled better through other channels.
In contrast, this one seems much more legitimate to me. Robert's mom sounds genuinely panicked about the situation. Her fear of her daughter-in-law may or may not be warranted, but I believe it to be sincere.

My guess is she did it. That it was part of the plan. In his April 12th call to 911 Robert says to dispatch that he thinks they may have a potential stalker, or maybe "there's some lunatic in town following my wife around". It almost seems like she was setting it up so when something happened to Robert, they'd look elsewhere. Just a guess. He filed for divorce a week earlier - he's careful not to accuse her but doesn't sound convinced that there's no way her BF is not in town. Sounds like he thinks he might be. It also strikes me as he is starting to sense danger asking LE to make a few passes by the home overnight.

RS explains to the police that LS owns 25% of the jet; however, he and the other owner voted to keep her off of the plane, mostly to protect the children from the chaos. Incidentally, their jet's tracking was turned off on July 16 after reaching the Bahamas early that morning.
"This bodycam is from July 16 and the same day LS planned the murder-for-hire with her lover TB, 28, and a man by the name of Faron Newbold, 29, said cops in the Bahamas."
“On July 16, 2023 at Abaco, while being together did, with a common purpose agree to commit an offense, namely the murder of Richard Shiver,” the police report stated, according to The Thomasville Times-Enterprise."
I believe that it's most likely the photos were intended as a set up. Maybe this is where I differ from Plunder in that the photos were part of the greater scheme; whereas, P intertwines the pics with RS hiring a PI.

I understand this to mean that the text they found was dated July 16th. That's why they used that date in the criminal complaint. How long any in-person or other message planning that we don't yet know about had been going on, we don't know yet. When I start looking at the totality, a picture is forming that this wasn't a one-time utterance because she was angry. There are too many strange things that started occurring leading up to this. But this is all just a guess (and speculation/opinion) on my part of course.

I saw that article that states there has been no arrest for grabbers but he's apparently a suspect (Woman, lover charged in plot to kill husband - Bahamas Court News) and I'd be very interested to know how he came to be - unless it's simply that all employee phones were searched. It's also unclear when that robbery occurred. I've seen reports that it was reported on the 20th. So does that mean it happened on the 19th? The 18th? I can't find that.

I've been curious what prohibitions the Bahamas has against unreasonable search and seizure. And if police authorities can force you to turn over your phone for examination without needing a warrant.
I tried searching online, but couldn't find anything on point.
Please don't ask which MSM but there is at least one that informs a search warrant was issued for the bartender's phone. That is when Police discovered the WhatApp comms between Bethel, the bartender, Newbold, an aspiring rapper, and Lindsay. On the 21st, The Trio was arrested.
Newbold's background is interesting in that not only is he a childhood friend to Bethel but he held a long term job with Bahama Power as a Tech at the time of his arrest. He recently had moved into a new smart-home following the last hurricane damages.
Speculation: Perhaps Newbold, possessing knowledge and technique, first cut the powerline to the AutoGenerator at Grabber's. Then, he cut the power to the building so whoever could enter Grabber's to open the safe without being seen on cctv. A possible inside job as Police suspect?
