Bahamas - Lindsay Shiver, 36, mom from GA, lover and hitman all charged in Nassau plot to kill husband, 28 July 2023

The divorce may carry on until after the Bahamas trial as there are child custody & visitation issues involved.
Her being in and out of jail in the Bahamas is certainly not helping. I can't speak for Georgia divorce law, but in many states, you have mandatory mediation, a guardian ad litem may be appointed to ascertain the kids' interest. Both of these would be slowed with her being out of the country. But she just may not agree to a settlement and want to go to trial. I'm sure she wants these charges resolved before doing that. It is a mess. I think RS could ask the court to just set a trial date. If she isn't there, she isn't there, or can appear via video.

Now I'm seeing engagement photos of savannh chrisley and RS all over social media sites. Apparently this happened over the Holiday when they were on vacation with her siblings and his children. I'm thinking the divorce is final or very close to it? My opinion only

Sadly, I'm thinking they keep pushing this trial off and it's never going to happen. My opinion only, there's not enough actual proof to convict her of anything and it will be settled with her time served as satisfaction. Again MOO

I would think that if the Bahamas had weak evidence that they would have dealt with this differently long ago. I think they are comfortable going to trial, but would likely prefer a plea. But I think the Bahamas would like to use this case to sort of send a message that lawlessness is not going to happen in the Bahamas.

Maybe a valid point here in the states but I'm not convinced their is true with their justice system

Trial is set for August.

Good old ABC News. “ Georgia mom who is accused of hiring an alleged hitman to kill her estranged husband”. Why don’t they say “Georgia mom who is accused trying to kill a Georgia DAD” ?
