Bahamas - Lindsay Shiver, 36, mom from GA, lover and hitman all charged in Nassau plot to kill husband, 28 July 2023

So Bethel's bond was also revoked for the same reasons as LS? It seems that at least 2 to 3 men are "somehow" always involved in her poor decision making.

Terrance Bethel, 30, one of the men with whom she allegedly conspired, also had his bail revoked for the same reasons. Hmmm...makes me wonder if Bethel was originally "tethered" (figuratively) to Shiver. lol

Last night I saw Lindsay in handcuffs being led away from the courthouse in the Bahamas. I think they said something about her going back to that awful prison down there? She is such a mess, he is better off w/o her.

DM style sheet. This is a tabloid that still boasts a FeMail section complete with celeb goss, homemaker and beauty tips, etc

- Short sentences, shorter paragraphs, readable even for the 200th person to pick it up bleary-eyed in a busy pub or station
- Beauty Queen, Stunna, Mum of X, Telly Star, Bathing Beauty, etc (note: heavily gendered descriptions apply to women only; blokes are blokes)
- Present value of properties occupied -- this one remains a mystery to me, but we Brits do like our realty programming, home is our castle, etc
- Any connection to Royalty, however remote
- Any connection to politicizaeable status
- Can they be shown in a swimsuit, preferably in Mallorca, etc?
- Can she then be photographed unflatteringly relative to Beauty Queen status of yore (see L Shivers) in a side-by-side, dramatically showing just How Far She Has Fallen?
- Can anyone involved be used to cast aspersions on the Labour Party?
- Long-range photos, often in place of actual news content
- Targeted ad for fluff product, commemorative coin, etc.
- Special reverence for Little Britain credentials of pretensions
- Bikinis!

It's a puzzling publication, with a decades-old formula, updated only occasionally in order to profess virtue and sensitivity before retreating to That Which Works.

Thus, if a female subject mentioned in the DM was Ms Peanut Queen, Miss Gladiola Entrant, or made the cheer team at age 9, she will forever be a Beauty Queen in the pages of the DM, just as anyone who ever appeared on telly in any context familiar to their readers will forever Be A Star.

My tuppence. Roll on the DM and its long-range lenses!
Great!

DM has successfully created a pantheon of archetypes. Like figures from m-me Tussaud museum, they are interchangeable. If UK royalties are temporarily unavailable, DM has a list of Hollywood’s chosen “power couples”. “life post-Bragelina” or “is Ben A in, or out of (insert a cost) mansion” always flies. If nothing is going on, there is Elvis Presley or Wallis Simpson.

Yes, he may be better off without her, as you say. I'm truly believing that she lacks the capacity to understand. MOO. However, I do not believe that she should be placed into that awful prison where she will be a target. Again, MOO. I'm grateful that we have a justice system here that allows us to speak out (unless there's a gag order) But during the part I saw of the GMA interview, did she ever speak?

Doesn’t mean he was fired. He could have moved on to another job by his choice
My opinion only, yes he could have left himself. I just wondered of his case had any bearing on it

Given the notoriety of the case, which the company wouldn't like, they could have just come to an agreement to part ways.

Are R and L divorced yet? Is it final?

I don't know. I hadn't heard anything on the divorce for a while.
I wonder if it's already over and final. Maybe he just hasn't made a statement? There's no reason for him to wait on anything I'm thinking. Just curious

The divorce case is still in progress.

Perhaps he is not listed on the Insurance Company's site as a security precaution given the recent murder in NYC? He is still with them on Linkedin
