No name for the match unfortunately. The DDP stoped updating their spreadsheet, so I don’t know if he has any other highest match. But I think you can send a message to the DDP, it might be helpful.
Where did you see the 260 cM match? DDP only shows Passmarble with a match of 7.7cM.
I've been searching the GedComs for the possible last names that have kits associated to see if I can find Passmarble and start from there. Of course, this is like finding a needle in a haystack.

If you want to ask them directly, they are currently doing a question and answer session on Reddit and all questions will be answered tomorrow.

The DDP used to have a spreadsheet on their website where they published the highest match for every case, but they removed it because there were too many cases and it was too much work to keep it updated. In 2022, when the spreadsheet was still available, the highest match for the Baker County John Doe was 260 cM, although they didn’t provide the name of the match.

The small matches of 7 cM were part of a different, smaller project they ran, unrelated to the highest match data. In that project, they offered people who were already in GEDmatch the chance to be compared with certain Does to see if they might be related. So those 7 cM matches were the highest matches for this Doe with people who wanted to be compared with him. The names shown were not their actual GEDmatch usernames, but randomly assigned identifiers.

I saw your post on Reddit! If you think you might be related to this Doe, you can provide your GEDmatch kit number to the DDP, and they can check if you're a match.
It's a different Doe, 1970 Saugerties John Doe I emailed the agency handling the case, they were fast replying to my email but I never heard back from them after that.

I see, must be a different company, the DDP is not working on Saugerties John Doe or any other New York cases. But you may write them about Baker County John Doe. They also have other cases with Columbian ancestry, they are also very tricky!

Yeah, I don't think anyone is doing IGG on Saugerties John Doe.

I applied to volunteer with DDP as they said, if I don't hear from them I'll send an email.

What are the other cases with Colombian ancestry?
