Crazy discussion but I think that lethal injection sounds better than standing blindfolded in front of 12 people with guns aiming at my heart. And if they miss, or I don't die instantly, some other guy shooting me in the head.

MOO

I think it would be faster than lethal injection which has not been going so effortlessly lately (gasping for air etc)

her friend said on instagram that she was the only person she knew who could go from looking like an homeless man to a model, she also said Heather should go to makeup school. This was maybe because she knew Heather was not going to school properly, being rebellious, & should look into a future at least in makeup school instead of going off on the wrong path, like she was & definitely has now.
I do not think Tommy is some innocent sympathetic victim in this, as some people have been suggesting on here, just because his ex-girlfriend died - his Facebook was a strange obsessive shrine - seemingly like he wanted people to feel sympathy for him. He wasn't with the girl when he died ....it was just some high school relationship that made him feel better about himself for a while because she was probably from a good well-offish family & he felt he wasn't, the whole thing reminded me of emotional blackmail when he even was supposed to be having other relationships by now. I think he comes across as an idiot on Facebook, just everything seems so stupid & his hip-hop 'career' ......http://www.websleuths.com/forums/images/smilies/facepalm.gif Heather would not have been able to get Sheila in the suitcase on her own, nor carry that ultra heavy weight of a dead body either

Rooting around on youtube ...

The following looks like news video/report from Bali or Indonesia. It appears the silver suitcase belonged to SWM. HM is shown saying: "No comment until my lawyer's here." Also, looks like one clip shows TS handing over his cell phone.

Note: Turn your volume way, way down prior to starting, it is unusually loud.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VGubaNzkew

Great work Quester! It was eerie with that music and seeing HM so calm, sipping water, she 'won't talk till she sees her lawyer', gah. :scared: Those bloody sheets made me sick to my stomach.

Good video Quester! (how about the dramatic background music during their news report :giggle:)

Shows bits and pieces we haven't seen before .. Shelia's name on the luggage tag of the suitcase, bloody clothing and sheet, bit more of the hotel room, TS being fingerprinted ...

It never ceases to amaze me how emotionless HM is. Other than the frequent sips of water, she doesn't really show much nervousness (and no upset) at all.

She is one scary little girl. :scared:

They can be blindfolded if they like, and it's done privately in the middle of the night. That seems a little better than having a room of spectators.

Cheers for the link Quester - did you see the little smirks HM had wash over her face very briefly...when she was arrested she thought this was all going to a breeze and the people of Bali are not that smart. You can see it in her entire attitude all the way around. I have not an ounce of sympathy at all for HM or TS as this seems pre-meditated to me. They thought they would have more chance of getting away with disposing of mother dear in a foreign country...ooops...there have been so many cases of kids killing their parents with the help of a fleeting or very new partner. Women have been involved more I believe in cases where the parents don't like the boyfriend, so either the girl alone or more often with the partner, will murder the parent. Heather is now the poster child for these girls and her post - "'i refuse to let someone say what i can do, gettin (sic) money my attitude you know what it do #bali.' - couldn't be any more pertinent.

I have heard of numerous cases where the lethal injection has not worked properly and the death has been extended and harrowing (and I know some probably deserve it considering what they have done to their victims) so to be honest I am not sure which method is better. At least a bullet would be instant as such if fired properly. I guess either way it can go wrong...I am so on the fence when it comes to capital punishment. I am not sure we are perfect or right enough to make that determination and isn't it more of a crime to put an innocent person to death? There are some predators though who cannot be saved and it is safer for all if they are no longer here. Long, serious debate but yeah I don't know how to feel.

I honestly don't think Tommy or Heather will be coming home any time soon...

I read in the Daily Mail that they know all 3 people entered the room where Sheila was murdered so it seems the police have a fairly airtight case against them:

"Chief Inspector Mokalu cited CCTV footage showing Ms Mack and her boyfriend arguing with Mrs Mack in the hotel lobby, more security footage showing them all entering the room where Mrs Mack was bludgeoned to death, fingerprints from bloody pieces of the glass murder weapons, fingerprints on the silver suitcase into which the body had been crammed and the fact that the couple had fled out through the rear part of the hotel after depositing the suitcase in the taxi boot."

Here's a similar video which includes: what looks like an interview with the taxi driver (w/red baseball cap); and, shows the room 616 placard with LE yellow tape.

Anyone speak the language? If so, is there anything said that hasn't been reported in English language sources? TIA

Tempers flare before Bali suitcase murder trial

... Bali Police Chief [BM] said the motive for the killing is unknown. There are indications it might have stemmed from one of [HM]'s temper fits. ...

... The couple will have to testify at their trial. Indonesian law requires defendants to answer questions from the prosecutor, defense attorney and the three presiding judges who will decide the verdict. Indonesia has no jury system.

The ''loss of love of my life'' is akin to trolling with live bait to me at least MOO kind of like a psycho Ted Bundy faking a broken leg to get help from his next victim who volunteered to help him. By appearing to have an emotional sad side he was using that grieving wounded vulnerable puppy eyed 'ruse' to lure soft hearts so he could get you know what. MOO

Women are often suckered into helping a ''sensitive'' (wolf in sheep's garb) guy .... MOO

and he of course could not resist a gal with potential for $$$ -- it was a match for both of these young greedy people he was capable of heavy lifting so she wouldn't have to break a nail. Ms Wannabe may have been attracted to his ''bad boy'' side for whatever trashy fantasy image she holds out as her ideal self (MOO)

o/t .... this whole grieving for ''fake'' relationship thing kind of reminds me of a sports figure (can't remember who sorry) who ''thought'' he had an online real girlfriend and then was notified she died ((it was in MSM)) - caused him a whole bunch of embarrassment when it was revealed she never existed? ---

8/13/14: http://abcnews.go.com/International...case-bali-daughter-arrested/story?id=24961918

... A family member who did not want her name released told ABC News she was shocked by the news, but had "sensed [HM] was going to be a troubled little girl." She said [SWM] didn't get along with her husband's family.

"I was leaving this morning and going past the TV set and I heard something about [HM], which is a very rare name," the family member said. "But I just thought the world was too big for that to be her. ... I don't believe this."

Just jumping off your post...

I believe someone was quoted as saying Tommy was into the drama. Remember his heart story and that he only had a short time to live. While I don't underestimate the effects of losing someone whom you were close to especially at such a young age when the deceased person is also very young, he may have over embellished his grief just a little. Or maybe not. But it can in no way be tied into what he chose to do in Bali, whatever his role may have been.

LMAO...the first time I saw that pic, my very first thought was "where did that cop get the Fly Emirates shirt" hahaha.

My second was "aha...they did handcuff her, well at first anyway".

I think his ''overtly public display of romantic perfection'' served as bait to attract women (In a nutshell) -- he had aspirations (MOO) to have a rich sugar momma perhaps.

HM saw $$ as power too. That desire for $$ I think is the common denominator (in a nutshell). MOO

Wed, 7/23/14 SWM reported to police that her credit card was being used ... without her permission at the Conrad Hotel in Chicago. When police arrived at the tony downtown hotel, they discovered HM and her boyfriend partying with seven other people in an eighth-floor room; HM & TS had used the card to book a room and ring up nearly $1,000 in charges. TS, 21 yo and 6' 4", was arrested for misdemeanor disorderly conduct after acting unruly during the police response. ... TS was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct and breach of peace. HM was released without charges. ... TS was scheduled to appear in court [sometime in the later half of Aug]. [?No other charges filed by SWM/hotel/LE?]

* * *

I won't hold my breath but it would be very interesting to hear from any of the "seven other people" who were partying at the Conrad Hotel with HM & TS!

I've also wondered if TS behaved in a "disorderly" / "unruly" fashion in order to distract/slow down cops so others could hide/dispose/flush anything?

No info about anyone else having been charged with anything???

When I hit the captions button, it said "Portuguese". Not sure if it is being translated into Portuguese...but we may have a better chance finding someone who speaks that language.

So what happens if they don't speak?
These 2 were treated way too well (McDonald's???!), IMO.

Doesn't the second photo look like the same distinctive pool shape as in the first photo?

If so, W Retreat & Spa (also a Starwood Hotel) in Seminyak may have been SWM & HM's first hotel on Bali from 8/4 - 8/9.
