What?!? A sociopathic murderer who committed matricide is not maternal? Who'd have thunk it?

So what's the prognosis? Is she still there in the waiting room with her "guard" who carries her bag for her? (what a joke) What is the baby's condition? Is she being admitted to the hospital or have her and her "mother" returned to Kerobokan? If HM's not maternal, and she's a prisoner, leave her at the damn prison and send the baby alone with the "guard" or better yet the prison doctor. That will prevent her using the baby for excursions in the future.

She's supposed to have had a caesarean section. Another area that must be kept sterile to prevent infection. I guess that was pretty much healed before she left the hospital? Or she's very careful to ensure that the incision area is protected but not so diligent with the baby? She's moving very well for a caesarean. Not even a grimace when entering and exiting these vehicles from the day she left the hospital. Heals quickly or good pain killers?

I'm finding it difficult using Stella for the baby's name. I guess I keep hoping that someone will step in and remove her from the horror she's enduring at the moment and place her with a loving family who will promptly change her name to remove any trace of her early history.

HM's engagement string is gone! I noticed that she has been wearing her new rubber band bracelet since she walked out of the hospital after giving birth.
Maybe Kia had a good laugh at the engagement string.

The string was on when she returned to Kerobokan in her celebrity paparazzi hat and cloak attire. I guess she removes it and forgot to throw it back on for this photo op.

The waiting room looks very crowded. I guess it might be more fun than a prison cell for Heather, but all this is so unfair to the infant. This is just the beginning of having to put a child first, and it's no surprise if Heather fails to have any maternal or human instincts or feelings. IMO, there was a hint of this  when she helped kill her own mother and stuff her in a suitcase.

Get that poor baby out of prison. The baby needs a clean start in a good home.

A prison source said medical staff were appalled at the baby's dirty condition.

'The mother appears not to have been washing her properly, if at all, ' the source told Dailymail.com exclusively.

It is understood there are concerns that because the baby has not been kept clean the area where the umbilical cord was cut might become infected.

'The baby's high fever is more of a concern than the jaundice,' said the source.

To be sure both HM and TS are relatively fair skinned themselves, remember each brings a Black and a White parent to the table.

HM is supposedly sick -
Source - “We have the letter from doctor who explained that both defendants and their baby are sick,” Wijaya said. The prosecutor did not elaborate.

Why then is a reportedly sick HM left in charge of an already sick daughter?
And left to infect not only her baby, but all other inmates.

How sick is HM - and what is the illness?
A cold? The Flu?

Yes, looks as though the tissue-in-hand-runny-nose is keeping her from attending court.

Though it is evidently not keeping her from strolling into the hospital, saying hello to the man outside the hospital, looking back to see if the cameras are still on her, plonking herself down and looking around at the refreshingly changed scenery, while holding her ill daughter and adjusting the blanket over baby's head with that germy tissue in her hand.

I'm still trying to find all the prison guards that went with her in that video. Looks like one paramedic lady to me. No gun no nothing. Weighted down by HM's bags she's carrying for her. Not that HM could really flee in her situation but they could at least make her look like a prisoner other than the Kerobokan golf shirt they keep putting on her for her excursions.

I guess she has to take her phone and wallet with her at least when she leaves the prison to prevent someone from stealing them but if she's stockpiling stuff in her cell it doesn't appear as though she's concerned about having her other goods stolen. Like that shopping cart full of stuff that left the hospital with her. I guess that's just another tall tale about life in Kerobokan.

Okay so it appears that the baby was looked at by a pediatrician and sent back to the prison on Friday. The doctor told HM to get the baby more sunlight in the morning? And of course HM was checked too because of her caesarean.

Appears mother and daughter are doing fine and have returned to prison. It's ridiculous even typing that. :notgood:

I found this the most interesting quote in the article...

Mack refused to comment on her baby’s condition. Her lawyer, Ni Kadek Sri Novi Wirani, said the baby was fine.

With all that money is Soenardi contracting the job out? And is that lawyer doing double duty as a paramedic? How come she's dressed the same as another woman walking around in the emergency dept? :giggle:

“The doctor said the baby needed more sunlight in the morning,” said Novi, who accompanied Mack to hospital.

That lawyer quoted in the above post was also in an article regarding HM back in January. Is that the woman you posted info about SouthAussie? The one with the Linkedin that said she works at Ary/Ray's law firm out of a cheap hotel?

http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2015/01/21/world/asia/ap-as-indonesia-us-woman-dead.html?_r=0

Yes, that's the one I looked up before. Ary/Ray's sidekick. She attended court with HM initially. From memory, she worked with Ary/Ray and with another legal entity as well.

Here is my previous post about Novi Wirani ... has a few links, but no Linked In that I could find. It was an article that mentioned that she worked with Ary/Ray. I have referenced the article in my previous post.

“It indicates that the baby lacks fluid. However, the baby didn’t have a fever,” he said.

(From the latest article that Kamille linked)

So, HM is not washing the baby, and is also not managing to feed the baby enough. And the jaundice is lingering. Every article I read about jaundice says that one of the best ways of prevention is to feed the baby well - with the sunlight helping to get rid of the jaundice, of course.

What is she going to do, keep not feeding the baby well so that she can make many trips to and from the hospital ... then one day get the opportunity to make a break for freedom, perhaps all by herself?

I think that she is becoming a high-risk prisoner. Getting way too familiar with the hospital, the routes there, the people, the dress, the language - and, thanks to Cohen, has the money to get assistance along the way. Don't know if she could carry it off, but I bet it is a thought in her mind .... if Plan A fails.

That's not a bad assumption SA - I think you're right. HM is a high risk prisoner.
There is a MO apparent - that with the trial delayed, if HM has any inkling that she will be charged with anything to do with her mothers death, she will forfeit her inheritance. What's to loose. She's playing all the cards she can - the pregnancy, the sick child, the lawyer...
Its not out of the realm of possibility.

OT - IIR - (I cannot find the article - I have looked for it may times) - but way back, there was an Australian girl who was arrested for suspected drug trafficking in Asia (it may have been Indonesia). Her family were very rich. Somehow, during trial and before sentencing, she escaped. I remember the news about it (pre internet) - but never heard much more. It was assumed that her money had helped her 'escape' and that they would never find her - she would get a new face and a new identity and never been 'seen' again.
HM doesn't have the money this woman's family had - but its not impossible.

I don't see her trying to make a break for freedom. They're not treating her like a criminal because they don't think she is one IMO. They've got it all on Tommy and he IS being treated like a prisoner. HM is enjoying her celebrity and the attention she's getting from everyone. I think she's intelligent enough to know that the worst thing she could try to do is make a break for it and piss off her happy guards.

HM has no worries over this trial the way I see it and therefore sees no reason to worry about her temporary incarceration. I bet she goes to the spa every day. As much as I hope she gets blindsided, and that someone is rolling video in the courtroom if that happens, I do believe she's confident for a reason and she's trying to rewrite history and improve her image in the US because she also believes she will be returning to the U.S. with impunity.

Figtree, the girls name was Lisa Smith, I think. She was "found", (exposed?) last year, running a café in Ireland.
