Thanks for keeping us updated, Kamille. :)

Minor correction from the above link:
Prosecutors have agreed not to recommend more than 20 years in prison for Bibbs, the only person to be prosecuted in the United States in connection with von Wiese-Mack’s murder. His sentencing is set for March 23. Schaefer and Mack were convicted in Indonesia. Schaefer, 23, was sentenced to 18 years in prison for beating von Wiese-Mack to death. Mack, 21, was sentenced to 10 years for helping.

,,,,
BTW-look at all the people HM has ruined. SWM obviously, TS, RB, Stella. And those are the only ones we know about. I bet TS and RB cringe every time the hear the name "Heather Mack". And they will be connected to that name for the rest of their lives.

Just adding - Sheilas sister and brother and their immediate and extended family - as well as Sheilas friends :(

I was just looking at the most recent court activity for HM. The most recent activity was on 1/11/2017, but this is the first time that there's no date listed for future activity.

I wonder what's going on?

She's been very quiet in recent months. And the two years for Stella is coming up fast. I'm curious about what's happening too.

MOO

Agreed Order Entered... that sounds final. I wonder what the Order says.

Eta. Nevermind. Half of the entries say that. Hmm.

I'm curious about the next to last entry:

COURT RETAINS JURISDICTION OVER THIS MATTER.

It sounds like someone isn't getting what they want from Cohen.

  • #1,587
The original file date was 1/15/15. Is there any kind of 2-year jurisdictional revisit needed?

Something happened. There is no continuance.

Heathers friend Nadushka that was featured in the Daily Mail article with her posted this today along with a picture of the two: in memoriam of the friendship that cost us millions of dollars, freedom, laughter, tears, love, and hate #throwback January 2016.

I'm guessing Cohen has been pressuring all sides to get things wrapped up before Stella turns two.

Unless HM has access to a LOT of money, I can't see the Kerobokan authorities bending the rules much to allow her to keep Stella with her in prison.

IIRC, at one point there was discussion about Kerobokan because it wasn't conveniently located for some of HM's local friends (Osha?). I think it is about an hour's drive from where her friends live. That's too far to make daily visits with Stella practical.

In 2015, HM and TS got minor sentence reductions - fairly standard practice for many prisoners. I have searched and searched, but I haven't been able to find anything about sentence reductions for anyone at Kerobokan in 2016.

Yes, on instagram. I wish that I knew how to post images on here.

Interestingly, HM didn't respond.

I'm sure she's active on social media, but she's really keeping a low profile.

I've been thinking about this. Along with the enteries here : https://w3.courtlink.lexisnexis.com...v=&caseno=&PLtype=1&sname=mack+heather&CDate= It says : "EXECUTE OR PERFORM - ALLOWED " twice. Once by HM and another entry for WW. The next entry says "COURT RETAINS JURISDICTION OVER THIS MATTER" for HM. I think the Slayer statue is settled. Thanks to Bibbs pleading guilty, and all the info he provided, it seems clear that HM is not entitled to any of SVW funds. I wondered this when I read the link. Now HM's sycophant is posting the above. "Cost us Millions of dollars, freedom.... I think HM just got a bag of nuttin'!! The court retaining jurisdiction may be about Stella and her inheritance. I wish we knew more. Please keep us updated, folks with links on Instagram.

Wow!

I think you are right, Weezer Fan. That ties everything up and makes perfect sense!

Its interesting (if your theory is correct) in the way that this was played out to prove HM's involvement (via Bibbs) in the demise of her mother to obtain the money from her inheritance.
HM has promised $$$ to everyone before and after her mothers death.
If the Slayer has been decided, and HM has a "bag of nuttin" left over from this ordeal - I'm thinking HM is in debt - a lot of debt.

Interesting... I am sure y'all have dissected the application of the slayer statute more than once. I am playing catch-up on the specifics, and found this case discussion helpful since HMs conviction (or lack thereof) was... wonky at best.

~~~
This 2004 statute is*broader*than the "slayer statute" in that it prevents a person from inheriting or receiving property from the decedent's estate -- even if the abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation was not directly related to the elderly person's death. *In this way, this newer statute endorses the notion that an unworthy heir should not profit from any type of bad behavior directed at the decedent.
However, the new statute is also*narrower*than the "slayer statute" because it does require an actual criminal conviction in order for it to take effect.
Good read.
Much of the prior behavioural issues related to HM and her treatment of SvWM is well documented.
Sheila was even aware that there maybe an attempt on her life through involvement by her daughter - that is also documented.
The conviction is in place, even with the conviction being in another country - and with Bibbs confessing guilt and being found guilty of involvement, also leads to the premeditation of the murder in the United States.
There are so many additional other ticked boxes for the Slayer Statute to be enforced, I think it would be one case that would be notable to see how effective that this law can be.
“[Mack] asked me for my advice [on how to kill the victim.],” Bibbs is quoted as saying in the complaint. “So I told her like,
‘If you would ever do something [to kill the victim], don’t get your hands dirty. . . Don’t, don’t like grab a gun and shoot your mom.’”
~~~

Or don't like grab your phone and text back and forth about methodology. Oh, the irony...

Justice for Sheila!

Regarding the Bibbs/Mack exchange ....Sometimes I really appreciate 'stupidity' ;)
