Very interesting indeed! If there has been any, let's say, less than above board actions taken to hide assets for KC, let's hope that this will uncover them. It will be interesting to see what happens to the wall of support that surrounds her when Federal Investigators start digging into things. MS got five months in prison for lying about a stock sale. I wonder what the penalty for lying about assets in a BK is? :waitasec:

Good luck getting itemized statements from Baez- didn't Judge Perry ask for the same thing, to be told he didn't itemize. I think he just looked to see how much money she had ($89K) left and said 'That's mine".
I'm sure everyone who even has an idea about how she will avoid paying her debtors has contacted the Trustee. I know I have...

Almost 3 yrs after they represented her, shouldn't ALL of her creditors come up with a bill by now, itemizing the work they did for her? I don't get how you can claim you owe this or that person money, but don't elaborate what it was for and how much....

Not only that, but Hal Boedeker's blog always featured a Casey story every time one hit the news, with MANY posters responding. Those seem to have gone- poof! Nothing lately..

This was NOT a Notice of Change of Address [it was an AMENDMENT TO SCHEDULE F - to include the following creditors] - typo by her attorney's office, and she just blindly signed it stating it is true and correct, under penalty of perjury.

She signed this declaration when they added Slabaugh and Medina, and also signed a declaration when they added AT&T Mobility and Collection Agencies.

She did NOT sign this declaration when they filed several Change of Address for Creditors however.

Why? Well for all that we initially viewed the last hearing as "not very good news at all" - it actually is great news!

What I really feared was that FCA and her league of lawyers were going to punt all of this quickly through the Bankruptcy court and off she'd stroll into the sunset to get on with her "fresh start".

Now we hear lawyers are being asked for paper trails regarding any and all monies she has received, and the civil cases need to be resolved before or IF the Bankruptcy filing is going to resume.

I think Missie's chariot has somewhat slipped into a big pothole - that just might turn into a sinkhole.....maybe....:floorlaugh:

Why? Well for all that we initially viewed the last hearing as "not very good news at all" - it actually is great news!

What I really feared was that FCA and her league of lawyers were going to punt all of this quickly through the Bankruptcy court and off she'd stroll into the sunset to get on with her "fresh start".

That is one of the reasons she gave for filing bankruptcy - get the civil suits off her back. Surprise, Surprise, CA, you're not getting off that easy! (Unless her lawyers are sucessful in overturning this ruling)

So if she won't testify before her appeals run out in the next six months, then it will be at least that long before her ability to plead the fifth expires. At that time she she can't refuse to testify. Quite a while before she can "get back to her life"!!!

I don't think there is any doubt about that at all. FCA is old news now! I imagine they will straggle out if and when she ever has to testify but other than that it will just be someone on her team flogging the odd story to radaronline and those types to make a few bucks.

But..but..."she" is not smart enough to figure any of this out. It is all "her attorneys" (remember their cozy pictures of Team Casey at Xmas time)? They are are the ones coming up with all of this for this poor, indigent woman.

What I want to know is...why? Why would anyone of them have any incentive to draw all this out? Why? Let a dead dog lie.
