Bankrupt Casey Anthony interviewed by KPHO CBS in Phoenix #2

Wow. It's some crazy world when someone like FCA has a whole army of lawyers fighting to not only help her successfully get away with murder, but also weasel out of her debts.

Nice to not be held accountable for anything. And have other people pay your bills.

All I can say, is I live for the day when her little ivory tower starts to crumble.

Has Baez ever stated anywhere he was owed money? Or is the only source of the debt Casey Anthony's filing?

Thanks for the info. My confusion is how can the judge make a ruling on June 20 before baez has to file his proof of claim on June 24? I hope the judge is not assuming that she must owe baez the $500,000 because no ethical lawyer would ever say they are owed that kind of money when they are not.
Needless to say, he's done a lot of things lawyers with ethics would never do.

My only question is "what was her income in 2008?!!" She was in jail for most of the year. Does anyone know how on earth she owed 47,000.00 to begin with? It couldn't possibly be income as I do not recall her ever having a real job since Caylee was born.

Sorry if this has been discussed, I've been to this thread several times and haven't seen an income discussion. TIA

Well if anything the IRS claim will make life a living hell for her until she gets that squared away. Take comfort in knowing once you make a boo boo with them they won't soon go away. She will also be putting the people "gifting" her these items under the light as well. :seeya:

BBM. Back in the 80's the IRS said hubby & I hadn't filed our taxes. We had our proof of filing, (still do), but they said they couldn't take our copies. We had to go through a parent co. In New York, to get our taxes straightened out. They had us owing, almost $4,000. When we finally got it straightened out, they owed us 3 cents. :floorlaugh: We still have that 3 cent check. :floorlaugh: Lessons learned. Don't mess with the IRS!!

I still find it very ironic, [ I mean iornic] this whole fee thing with Baez. Here this shady lawyer pulls of a MIRACLE. He gets his obviously guilty client off from a slam dunk Murder One case, and she walks away with an acquittal. What does she do to reward the attorney for all of his hard work and success? She takes him to Bankruptcy court to try and get out of paying him his fee. LOL Awww, that is the Casey we all know. The lying, thieving ingrate, has not changed a bit. Mommy and daddy are still trying to clean up after her. :giggle:

No he hasn't - or at least not publicly. The BK court is still waiting for his invoices and statements for that claim and he has not responded.

And you will remember that while FCA was making that claim for Baez at 500K, she was also covering her bases saying well she wasn't really certain that she actually owed him that money.

What does that have to do with her bankruptcy case?

If Casey has the use of a vehicle, then she lied to the bankruptcy trustee when she said she only uses a bicycle or public transit for transportation.

He'd have had to have run up that bill from the date she was acquitted and the day he resigned as her lawyer the following January.

FCA was declared indigent and along with the 89K she had already paid him from the ABC, it meant he couldn't charge her anything more.

So where this 500K came from is quite the mystery. Or not when we remember who the two players are....:floorlaugh:

I thought it was an HHR?

Sent from my LG Spirit using Tapatalk 2

Baez wrote in his book that George drove a black PT Cruiser, but it is actually a Chev HHR which looks like a PT Cruiser.

The car FCA is driving is a cranberry colored Chev HHR.
It looks like a PT Cruiser, but is not.
Would be great if someone could get the license plate number on that car!

I'm working on that as we speak. Thank God for connections in Tampa!

What does that have to do with her bankruptcy case?

She is supposed to be completely broke, depending on the kindness of others and using public transport. If she really has a new car and is moving to Tampa, that all costs money, so it is relevant to ask where she got it all..

Me too! I have family staying at the Best Western Bay Harbor in Tampa this week, they will definitely be on the lookout for her and her car...

BBM Or better yet, a picture of Casey Anthony driving it. If some one can take and post of a pic of it parked at Ocean Woods, why can they not get a pic of Casey Anthony, either in or near it? IMO, it's because she is not/ was never there.

The only, or main reason, FCA filed for bankruptcy was in hopes of having the bankruptcy judge THROW OUT completely the CIVIL SUITS of Zenaida, Kronk, and TXEquuSearch. That's all she really cares about in the bankruptcy case.

She is hoping the judge will say that all of their civil suits are ended and she owes them nothing ... ever.

Zenaida, Kronk, and TXEquuSearch are hoping the bankruptcy judge will allow them to continue their civil suits in State court ... where they hope to win judgments against her ... and then file Motions in the bankruptcy court asking the bankruptcy judge to NOT allow her to Discharge their debts/judgements against her.

This all pivots on what the bankruptcy judge decides about the (3) civil suits - ruling expected by about June 20, 2013.

And this is why I'm having such an issue with it. Based on the numbers everyone posted over the past few days, it appears as though she may not even be eligible for bankruptcy, and this may not even be an issue for the bankruptcy court, so why should a bankruptcy judge have the authority to dismiss civil suits? The bankruptcy is what should be dismissed ... not the civil suits! I'm still not understanding the process. Instead of the judge saying he will rule on June 20 about the civil suits, he should be saying "sorry, you don't have enough debt to qualify for bankruptcy, so I can not and will not rule on the civil suits".

It just ticks me off that they are playing the system yet again, and claiming bankruptcy to get her out of the mess she created by lying and blaming innocent people. I lost all faith in the system, and am picturing the bankruptcy judge ruling prematurely and dismissing the civil suits only to figure out later that the numbers don't add up.

Am I misunderstanding this whole mess?

Seems to me that those people who have a favorable/helpful attitude towards FCA, know full well that she lived in Ocean Woods, and know full well that is her Chev HHR in the driveway .... but they are "baiting" folks who are posting info, to see just exactly how MUCH concrete information they have, so FCA can be warned that the bankruptcy trustee has EVIDENCE of her hidden money and assets. Reason for provoking comments posted here, in my opinion.

I have no idea where CA is or if she has a car, but I don't think she could be just sitting somewhere and not getting out. That is not her nature. If she is then I think she is getting close to be stir crazy amoung other kinds of crazies. I do not believe that she is traveling by bicycle or bus either. She would be more easily recognized using those modes of transportation. It doesn't seem plausible that she is living with someone else either. Just imagine what it would be like to live in the same space with her.
