Bankrupt Casey Anthony interviewed by KPHO CBS in Phoenix #2

One thing that really grates on my nerves, is how Casey is allowed to leave off some people who have done a LOT of work for her. Their work for her is documented and public, not a secret.

A federal bankruptcy filing should list ALL of her Creditors — not just the ones that she wants to include.

How does she get away with leaving off all of these people?

J. Cheney Mason, Lizbeth Fryer, Dorothy Sims, David Schrader, Charles Greene, Andrew Chemlir, Debra Ferwerda, Linda Kenny Baden, Jose Luis Garcia [her crush], Tomasita Crowell, Michael and Michelle Walsh, Gabriel Adam [long jail visits], John G. DeGirolamo [in Charles Greene law office], P.I. Pat McKenna, P.I. Dominic Casey, Jeanene Barrett [mitigation specialist], P.I. Mort Smith, and Tony Padilla [BOND], Rob Dick [Padilla's sidekick and Casey's chauffeur and babysitter], and Tracy Dawn Conroy McLaughlin [Padilla's sidekick, Casey's playmate babysitter, sent money and letters to Casey in jail]?

How does she get to choose which CREDITORS are not included in her bankruptcy DISCHARGE?

How does her bankruptcy attorney get away with omitting all these true, and obvious, CREDITORS on her federal bankruptcy filing?

How does the bankruptcy trustee turn a blind eye to this?

How does the bankruptcy trustee not investigate thoroughly Baez' CLAIM?

I do believe that, just like Al Capone, Casey Marie Anthony will eventually end up in the hoosgow thanks to our buddies at the Infernal Revenue Service. Either that, or it will be check fraud or something. Listen, eventually these misguided folks are gonna get sick of carrying this chick, right? When the money trail derails, she'll have to resort to what she does best (besides lie)....steal/rip off/cheat.

Karma: The gift that keeps on giving.

Peace and love to y'all!
BBM - I totally agree with you. Greed will be her (eventual) downfall. We all know what happens when she gets gets desperate and backed into a corner.

What gets me is we have all seen the document Casey signed, stating she did not owe any $ and there would be no expectation of any further payment to Baez.
If I can find that out, how come the Bankruptcy Trustee hasn't read it and done something about it? Pathetic!

Bill Sheaffer says she does not have to pay the court-ordered costs!!!!
In my mind, that is just WRONG!

Judge rules Casey Anthony doesn't have to pay off $800,000 debt

clips

In her trial, which took place three years after she was indicted on the first-degree murder charges, Anthony’s defense attorneys told the jury that Caylee drowned on the day she reportedly disappeared and that she was never really missing.
-
That led to convictions for lying to investigators and to an order by Chief Judge Belvin Perry that Anthony pay back what the sheriff’s office and other law enforcement agencies spent looking for Caylee.
-
Wednesday’s federal bankruptcy order discharging Anthony’s debts does not specifically address whether she still owes that money, but Sheaffer said that most likely she does not.
“If this is a debt compensating law enforcement for a loss, it’s usually not a debt that can survive bankruptcy,” said Sheaffer.

But Sheaffer said Anthony does have to pay more than $80,000 in income taxes because of when she filed for bankruptcy. Those taxes were assessed in November 2010, but since less than three years passed between then and when she filed for bankruptcy in January 2013, she still owes the Internal Revenue Service.

Anthony could still be forced to pay in two defamation lawsuits.

-------------------------

(1) Internal Revenue Service - she listed $ 68,540 - -$ 80,855.11 FILED CLAIM

(2) Florida Dept Law Enforcement - $ 61,505.12 [court costs - Court Ordered by Judge Perry] [no CLAIM filed]

(3) Metropolitan Bureau of Inv - $ 10,283.90 [judgment for Inv Fees & Costs - Court Ordered by Judge Perry] [no CLAIM filed]

(4) Orange County Florida Clerk of Court - $ 495.00 [court costs] [no CLAIM filed]

(5) Orange County Sheriff's Office - $ 145,660.21 FILED CLAIM [judgment for Inv Fees & Costs - Court Ordered by Judge Perry]

(6) State of Florida - $ 50.00 FILED CLAIM - Filed by Linda Drane Burdick - Chief Assistant State Attorney
[Ofc State Atty - judgment for Inv Fees & Costs] Court Ordered Costs of Prosecution

Schaeffer also thought she would be found guilty, but he was wrong. Maybe he is wrong on this also (I hope).

On the list of things that are not discharged was criminal fines, etc.

I'm praying he's wrong.

Its beyond understanding why the same cast of attys continue to support and bankroll her. Not one of them can still be hoping the big bucks will roll in if they hang in there.

If she had to fend for herself she would sink like a stone. The good news is that she is still very young and at some point she WILL be forced to go it alone. I look forward to reading about what happens after that day.

Bold mine.

I just hope I live to see it.

Just going by (sometimes faulty) memory, but IIRC tax liens are not dischargeable per bankruptcy law/statute. If it's written into law I don't see how a judge has a decision re; taxes and some of the other exempt debts. Hopefully we'll get disclosure on the full ruling before too long...

Yes correct IRS cannot be discharged. I thought this also was true for court costs in all states, but then again, FL is KNOWN as "debtor haven" in some circles, it's why OJ moved there.

I have thought forever that the master bath is where Caylee died. :(

This is an incredibly long thread that I've been working on reading. This is my first comment on the thread.

I followed the case from the news of Caylee "missing" for 31 days until the end of the trial (which I watched entirely), but was so disgusted by the verdict that I have only caught news here and there. I'm on Winter Break right now and started reading through to keep my mind busy.

I had to point out this nugget here. I remember seeing pics of all the rooms in the house, but I don't remember ever seeing anything from the master bath. It never struck me as odd until reading that the master bath was redone and T's comment. Considering the particular household products to create chloroform would be most likely kept under a bathroom sink (or medicine cabinet), it now strikes me as odd that during the several searches of the home, there was no inventory of a master bath search/seizure other than tooth/hair brushes. Definitely makes me pause and wonder.

Letters Casey wrote to her prison pal Robyn Adams

http://www.wesh.com/download/2010/0406/23069066.pdf

page 32 - 3 page letter Feb 12, 2009

page 50 - "People like my Mom who is still milking her leave-of-absense, at least she still was last month, should be grateful to have a job. Neither of my parents are working - my Dad quit or got fired back in November, never mentioned it to my Mom, but kept disappearing day and night, never telling her where he was going, what he was doing or who with. Too many questions unanswered...."

page 51 - KC complains about Cindy bringing wrong clothes for her to wear to court. ...."my Mom is going to be escorted to court on Friday, via a friend of hers directly connected to the Today Show."

"my Dad quit or got fired back in November, never mentioned it to my Mom, but kept disappearing day and night, never telling her where he was going, what he was doing or who with. Too many questions unanswered..."

So she learned that trick from GA? Interesting. These people are a curious bunch!

The timing of this suggests that he learned this trick from FCA. She had been lying about working since she gave birth to Caylee two years earlier.

CASEY ANTHONY DEPOSITION will be set within 30 days after December 5, 2013.
The date, time, place of the depo is to remain secret.

EMAILS agreeing to set date for Casey deposition – within 30 days of the Official ORDER denying Casey’s Motion to Dismiss Zenaida’s Complaint – which was entered December 5, 2013 – so depo will be set within 30 days from December 5, 2013.

Notice of Rule 7026 Showing of Good Faith
Filed by David L Schrader on behalf of Defendant Casey Marie Anthony

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7DjeAMt_BpIekxIR3BoeFJWaG8/edit?usp=sharing

Casey attorney David Schrader files emails showing their good faith efforts to resolve the discovery issues [Depo of Casey], as they stated in Casey’s Motion for Protective Order.

In the emails, Casey’s attorneys said that if the Zenaida case is not thrown out after the Hearing on Nov 5th, Casey’s attorneys will agree to set a date for the Depo within 30 days of the entry of the Order denying Casey’s Motion to Dismiss the Zenaida case [official ORDER filed/entered Dec 5th].

EMAIL Oct 16, 2013 1:16pm
Casey's attorney Debra Ferwerda to Zenaida's attorney Scott Shuker
she can’t agree to set a date for Depo now
she does agree to set date for Depo within 30 days of a final Order on the Motion to Dismiss

—————————

Casey’s attorney Debra Ferwerda QUIT – Nov 26, 2013
granted by judge Dec 2, 2013.

Nov 5, 2013 Hearing – Ferwerda knew her Motion for Protective Order was DENIED and she got Sanctions [official ORDER filed Dec. 6th].

Nov 5, 2013 Hearing – Ferwerda knew her Motion to Dismiss Zenaida case DENIED [official ORDER filed Dec 5th].

This, coupled with the comment about the other lawyer for Casey who "used to" have a good reputation, seems like the most likely reason Ferwerda withdrew. She probably also didn't want any part of the deposition. JMO

Thank you.

We never did get the straights on that story either.
Merry Christmas!

I just heard about this. I'm disgusted, but she is already morally bankrupt.
