Since there is (and will be) a lot of talk/sleuthing on twitter in this Social Media thread, I thought it would be good to have one place that identifies twitter accounts that are not all that they are perceived to be. This way, one can decide for themselves if they should waste any time believing what they read or to take it with a grain of salt.

(I hope it is OK to start this thread. Mods, if not feel free to remove).


I'd like to start this one off with:

This is not Cindy Anthony. I believe Mark Lippmann has said so himself.
This person has tweeted a number of pics to get a rise out of people including a wedding cake, remodeled bathroom, diamond ring (claimed to be a grandmothers ring) and a yard statue. Every single one of these pictures have been found on another (unrelated) web page - mostly commercial.

Pretty nice that three years ago c an g were getting forclosed on their house. They couldn't even swing $700 mortgage. But because of the case, they got moved up to the front of the line and got their mortgage reduced to $200.

Fast forward three years and they own a couple homes. I bet that condo was purchased by them with the donations from dr.phil. It must be nice. When are all these people going to get their karma? I've been waiting for four years. All I see are limos, vacations, homes, remodeling, fancy clothes, new cars, etc.

Caylee sure has given them alot. They even managed to say she is in a better place. That swamp means nothing; for it was just her shell, say cindy. What a bunch of pathetic losers these people are.

I've said from day one that nothing will keep cindy and her evil spawn apart. They are enmeshed and cannot function w/o each other. What a sick dynamic plays out in that family!

I can't even bear to think what happened to the dogs of the parents. I know she put them down three or years ago. *(&*^&*^

For the love of Pete, please don't let anyone of these sickos have a pet. lease:

I will think of some more examples of where Baez lied in court and defense attorneys on NG show mainly, but also others leaped to his defense...
said in effect he's just doing his job, he's not under oath.
The one that pops into my mind tonight is the lie he told the court that
triggered Brad Conway's complaint to the Florida Bar. He clearly lied, was
reported and I am still waiting for the Florida Bar to do anything about that.
The first lie I recall of Mason's was him telling Judge Perry there was a holdup due to the transcription service changing their fees and no longer agreeing to the JCA rates. The indignant owner of that company wrote to the court telling them he would never have agreed to those rates and Mason knew better. Did Judge Perry do anything about that lie? The panel comments I heard that night were excused as "Mason was clumsy about that"...

Lest we forget Ms. Lyon's tall tales about 20k being spent on "computers and research", which was obviously false. I wonder if the bankruptcy judge will be as lenient?

She should be chasing after a 7 1/2 y/o, not relaxing. She should be making sandcastles with her daughter, helping with homework etc. Since she can't, she should be spending every waking minute looking for a job, getting her GED, getting therapy.

She hired him in July 2008 and signed a Retainer Agreement in March 2009? 8 months later?

AZ does that happen often? unless March 2009 was a new agreement? I thought they had one dating back to July 2008

Cindy Anthony wrote a letter to Casey while she was in jail saying something about when this is all over you can get Lyon to let you in her paralegal school or some such nonsense and at the time I thought yeah right dream on Cindy, but now it could happen however Casey is way too unsettled/distrubed or whatever her diagnosis is to take any action towards supporting herself and why would she when the state's highest trained legal professionals are so willing to fund her life?

Her own attorney says she is not living with her parents, in the articles about the bankruptcy. He said she has lived in central Florida for 180 days.

There are four districts - Fort Myers; Jacksonville; Orlando; and Tampa.
She filed in the Middle District of Florida, in Tampa -- not in the Orlando/Orange county area where her parent's house is

Does it matter which Division in the Middle District of Florida it is filed in?

What happens if you are renting or leasing and you go bankrupt? Eviction?

No, no eviction. It is treated as any other utility, etc...basically an informal reaffirmation of sorts. You just keep paying the rent on time and all is good.

Now, if you try to rent an apartment, condo, house AFTER filing a bankruptcy, it can severely limit your chances as it shows up on a credit report and can be considered high risk. However, people filing bankruptcy can't just be put out on the street. The law protects debtors to the extent that they are permitted to keep a roof over their heads and a car for transportation, clothes, and basic household items necessary to living in a minimal fashion. Those are the exemptions I keep talking about and they vary state-to-state. In my experience, it appears Florida has some very liberal exemptions compared to most other states.

Eviction...I would say no.
IF reports are true that George signed a Lease/Rental agreement and IF they are paying the rent then I can't foresee her being evicted even if she has filed for Bankruptcy.

I imagine her petition was filed in the Orlando Division since that corresponds to the address of her attorney and the Hopespring Drive address she listed on her petition. I don't think the Division where the petition was filed is a big deal - it is the District that is relevant. By law, you have to reside in the District where you are seeking relief for at least 180 days prior to filing. Either way, she filed in the Middle District of Florida which includes all those counties.

eta: rethinking here and second guessing myself - I am ASSuming it was filed in the Orlando Division for the reasons stated above, however I'm not quite sure if that is the case since she supposedly lives in a different Division than the one she listed on her petition. Maybe it does matter. AZ will be able to let us know which Division of the Middle District via Pacer. Good gosh...only this case would we have to wonder about stuff like this (an alias address listed as her home address which isn't really her home address for the past 180 days). I hate this stupid case. lol
