I know what this means....someone is cutting a deal for some type of interview and she wants to pocket the money and she will. why not everything else has gone her way. I feel like I could puke!

I know nothing about BK filings...but I am really surprised one can put down all those creditors with such little detail...most had no detail as to what the debt was from, and the amount due.

How in the world can one file something so incomplete?

Common sense would be...ummm, you get bills/invoices, or something! And therefore, know the amounts, at least pretty close. As in, the original amount, at least, before any interest due, etc.

I'd assume as it gets through the courts, they're required to give more detail...but to me, it should be a given to give more detail up front.

Any insight?

Her own attorney says she is not living with her parents, in the articles about the bankruptcy. He said she has lived in central Florida for 180 days.

There are four districts - Fort Myers; Jacksonville; Orlando; and Tampa.
She filed in the Middle District of Florida, in Tampa -- not in the Orlando/Orange county area where her parent's house is

Really? Hmmmm, I thought Baez got paid at least what a PD would have been paid. At any rate, he can take a business loss on his taxes (or his firm's) for any monies billed but not paid. And $500K is a nice, round number.

As for George and Cindy being listed, I wonder if they did in fact sign for Casey's rental, and gave her the money to pay the rent but she just kept it for herself. Or...maybe all the cash they have given her over the years was just a "loan" to be repaid once Casey scored her big payday. But, knowing what I know about GA and CA, I would list them too, just to CMA.

DT, PA, SD, etc. do not refer to names; they are not unique to any particular case. They are generic for every case as far as I know. For example:
DT = defense team
PA = prosecuting attorney
SD = self defense
PD = public defender
Yet these do not appear in the FAQ or the Websleuth's Lingo List

Just my opinion, but having to ask for an explanation every time one come across a new acronym is tedious and tiresome - both for the asker and for the other readers. An acronym reference is so late in coming on this site.

Again, just my opinion, but saying that new readers should "stick around long enough" to understand the discussion is really unkind and unreasonable. Newbies should be able to understand the conversation right away after referencing the FAQ.

Lastly, and my strongest opinion of all, forums are made for communication. Acronyms are one of the greatest - if not the greatest - impediment to good communication.

I hope someone in charge will consider/reconsider.

Just a thought...perhaps if you have time, you can start a thread and ask a mod to include it in the different forums. I would think they'd welcome the help.

The bankruptcy was filed in the Middle District of Florida because Anthony has lived somewhere in central Florida for 180 days. Her parents' address is listed as her home address, though Greene says that she is not living with them. He says that address was listed because it was her most recent permanent address.


So they are listing her most recent permanent address as her parents but she hasn't lived there for over four years ago. Can they back date her address that far? I just found this link below that says you can file in the district that your principal assets are located. I bet that's why she listed her bedroom furniture.

They claim she has lived in central FL for 6 months (180 days) so she qualifies for filing in that district. The link below has map of different districts. Can they just say that or do they have to prove it? She doesn't have a driver's license or any expenses which would mean no electric, cable or phone bills as proof of residency so it would just have to be her/their say so. A rental agreement may suffice but who knows if she actually stays there? Do the courts allow that?

I'm not sure about the dates, but her probation ended 6 mos or so ago so they can't use the probation officer for verification.

I remember when Mr Green said Casey has left the state now she has returned for financial reasons you know what that means? No one wants to take care of her LOL Secretly I think all of these lawyers and her handlers are not happy with her, think about it..she is a huge liability until such time she gets her big paycheck..that may or may not come to pass... so I think for their investment its a long shot to recoup the daily expenses of this princess.... glad it aint me!

None of her 'possee' seem to have any genuine concern for her well-being. We never hear of any of them pushing her to enroll in school or obtain some sort of job training. No indication from any quarter that any of her inner circle love her enough to push her to do the right things, to take the necessary steps to become a productive, contributing member of society. Never any "tough love" in evidence.

No, instead these ones close to her choose to become her acolytes*, if you will. They willingly choose to step up to promote the glorification of her lawlessness, they willingly choose to make a mockery of justice. All for the hint of the glimmer of money, the sum of which for them amounts to chump change.

They willingly choose this, there is no one forcing them to defend her, to stand with her, to support her, as would be the case in a public defender scenario at trial.

In my opinion, that makes them as evil as she is. Those who are especially charged to be champions for justice are instead . . . openly mocking it.

Shame on every single one of them.

Decent people are outraged by this sort of thing, and rightfully so.

As maddening as it is to read about these continued antics, I am certain (and comforted) in knowing that God is not mocked.

Nope. Fairborn is near Dayton. It jumped out at me as well because I grew up near there and my best friend went to HS in Fairborn. Her family is from more northern Ohio. I googled the person and seems to be some kind of dna person.

Gosh, it's been a long time since I've tried to keep up with a thread in this forum...and I'm still reading!
Anyway, I don't think Casey is just banking on an interview...I think she's already got one lined up. Let's not forget, when you declare bankcruptcy your credit goes down the toilet. There will be no credit cards, mortgages, car or any other kind of loan for Miss Casey. She anticipates living on CASH...and for quite some time, IMHO.
