I used to like Dr Drew so much but I swear his shows are all scripted now regarding Casey Anthony, with the emphasis being on producing outrage in his viewers ( I no longer watch) and they think somehow inflaming people means they will tune it to watch!

Wow! They are all really struggling aren't they?

How can this be true... how can this be right?

My husband and I work very hard to make ends meet. We are a family of five with a special needs son.

We are law abiding, kind, good people.

We have student loans that we will be paying on for some time. They were worth it, but still.

We pay our mortgage, taxes and income tax. Always.

I just don't understand.

First of all, the events of the past few years did not "happen to her". She lied about the whereabouts of her child and insisted she did not know what happened to her for THREE years.

Are the private events the fake molestation or the death of her child?

In other words she is still acting as happy-go-lucky as always and the only way they can rationalize sympathy for someone so cold is to figure they must be emotionally "strong" or "in denial" or she has "buried her feelings". No, she's just a sociopath.

And as far as judging George - he is way down the list I have of "great people". Are you saying the public had any sympathy for George after the trial? I seem to remember the castigation never stopped - from way before the trial, the seeds of dislike were planted and only increased from then on.
I understand Steve Helling is your "tweet friend" but him saying he researched your lead and confirmed it - just that - all words and no solid confirmation - is for me just writing on the bathroom wall.

I'm happy to give you the respect and right of your opinion - but that still doesn't make it true for me. And honestly - you'lll understand that I value my own opinion as much as I value yours. I've searched and searched but found nothing but Steve's "word". Well phtttt! Not with the foundation that posters use as absolute "proof" to substantiate it. Not even close.

George Anthony... the bastion of moral character?

Hmmm lets see what we do know about GA. He threw his father through a plate glass window and then opened a business to compete with him. He mortgaged his families home to do so. He rolled the dice and lost with that retaliation venture (never a good reason to go into business, IMO) with a wife and two small children- they lost their home. We know he left the police force after running a red light and killing someone. He went from job to job, got injured on a job and won a settlement for that injury. He spent a good deal of that money on a nigerian scam or gambling- I don't think I ever knew exactly which truth it was. He drove his daughters car, admittedly smelling of decomposition while his defenseless granddaughter had been missing for a month, from an impound lot home to his house instead of phoning the proper authorities and went back on his merry way to work. What else?

There is a very long long list Frigga! Please please don't misunderstand me - I don't post in defense of George - I am posting about our taking rumours and unstantiated words as fact over and over again - when if it isn't backed up by fact it is just gossip IMO - nothing more.

When I first joined WS I was in awe of the posters - no one dared write one word without a link and some pretty strong backup for facts - now it seems any tidbit of gossip will give us something to run with as absolute truth.

It's just me - not my support of George. I hate hate hate gossip - I've seen it hurt so many people who didn't deserve it in my lifetime.

For all I know - George did sign the lease. I'd just like something real before I join the anti comments is all.

It wasn't intended as "condescending" unless one wants to read it that way. I have apologized up thread for that phrase.

I've watched him more that a few times. He IS of the molestation persuasion, as that is the only "clinical" way he can explain her actions of lying, etc. Not, mind you, that she could simply be a sociopath. He definitely believes SOMETHING happened to her. He has stated it over and over and over again.

Just because you file for bankruptcy doesn't mean the judge automatically will grant it. No way will they forgive an IRS debt. They could put it as uncollectable, but if she ever makes any money it will need to be paid back. IMO also I don't think they will forgive the money she owes the city, they will probably make her file a chapter 7 (a liquidation) and if she makes any money in the future it will be applied toward her debts. As far as the civil suit, she hasn't won or lost that but if Gonzalez wins she can file a judgement that will be good for 10 yrs and then she can refile for another 10 yrs. So far the only one ironically, that may not get any money is Baez. He will probably make her give her rights to him and he will get his money back. So now what she has done is put the government on her back, for the rest of her life. Bad move IMO.

Casey is just covering her butt with listing all the witnesses and lawyers in her BK. It doesn't necessarily mean she owes them anything. With her listing everything she can come up with it will protect her in the future.

I do know that legally, if someone gives you an engagement ring on a holiday like Christmas, it qualifies as a "gift." and you never have to give it back to them in case of a breakup, but if it is given on a regular day it becomes a contract to marry and you would have to give it back if you broke up .

I only know that because I am recently engaged and my fiance proposed 5 days before Christmas, and an attorney friend told us about the gift vs contract information in passing conversation.

The "341(a) meeting" is the "Meeting of Creditors" I mentioned earlier--the creditors get to ask questions about the assets and liabilities of the debtor. Casey will be under oath, BTW.

ZG's attorneys will have until 5/3/13 to file a motion asking for her defamation claim to be treated as nondischargeable.

Is the meeting for anyone who wants to oppose? I wonder how big room 100-A is. Wouldn't be funny if everyone on the list opposes her? And I hope it's all televised.
