I don't understand how any of these dual relationships are ethical. Yet there is no investigation whatsoever. I guess if they didn't go after Baez and company, the new crop of "Team Casey" people won't even be on the radar. (Wonder what team Casey is even supposed to mean.)

I suspect that the 'Team Casey' banner was a product of madam herself to show the world how many people were on her side, normal looking people with older women too. Am I being too cynical in suggesting that the whole thing is a PR exercise that smacks of desperation?
Casey loves publicity more than anything in the world. (even more than her child)
It represents her narcissistic supply and she basks in it. Most 'self respecting' murdering mothers (you get what I mean) would try and live a quiet anonymous life, but not our Casey.

I've watched him more that a few times. He IS of the molestation persuasion, as that is the only "clinical" way he can explain her actions of lying, etc. Not, mind you, that she could simply be a sociopath. He definitely believes SOMETHING happened to her. He has stated it over and over and over again.

It is truly astonishing how easily she lies, how quickly she moves from one lie to the next. She can become angered/enraged if confronted but bounces back from her lie and continues on.

She was an only daughter and was spoiled by her father.
She loves and hates with the same amount of passion.

She thrives on attention, any attention, good or bad...it's always about her even when giving out compliments to others somehow it manages still to be about her. :waitasec:

I don't understand. AZ lawyer said that Casey already filed chapter 7, but according to the bankruptcy doc, it says "All Prior Bankruptcy Cases Filed Within Last 8 Years--none."

I was responding to someone who said the bankruptcy court might make her file a Chapter 7--pointing out that the current filing is already a Chapter 7. She has never filed BK before.

Is the meeting for anyone who wants to oppose? I wonder how big room 100-A is. Wouldn't be funny if everyone on the list opposes her? And I hope it's all televised.

The meeting is for all creditors. They can't really "oppose" the bankruptcy in this case, but they can ask questions about the assets and liabilities listed (or not listed). If there are too many questions, though, the trustee might tell the creditors to notice her deposition ("2004 exam") instead.

ummm is that what a normal person would do who wants to file a claim against FCA .... contact her civil attorney? Wouldn't they file a claim at the courthouse, which would show up on the Clerk of Court's docket? Would someone go to the trouble to even try to find out who her attorney of the day is? Sounds like malarky to me. Just like the constant "death threats".

Most attorneys will send a demand letter and/or attempt to contact any known attorney of the other party before actually filing a complaint.

I'm barfing out my eyes at the prospect of Casey desperately seeking charity from friends. I think the very most minimal level of charity is caring for the child you brought into the world. I am violently ill by the notion that her attorneys expect us to feel sympathy for a person who shows not a fraction of a shred of kindness for the innermost circle of people in her life. If you are willing to screw the people who've done everything for you, can you imagine what you'll do to strangers?

That is exactly it. Her Team is trying to get her some sympathy from the public.

Just because you file for bankruptcy doesn't mean the judge automatically will grant it. No way will they forgive an IRS debt. They could put it as uncollectable, but if she ever makes any money it will need to be paid back. IMO also I don't think they will forgive the money she owes the city, they will probably make her file a chapter 7 (a liquidation) and if she makes any money in the future it will be applied toward her debts. As far as the civil suit, she hasn't won or lost that but if Gonzalez wins she can file a judgement that will be good for 10 yrs and then she can refile for another 10 yrs. So far the only one ironically, that may not get any money is Baez. He will probably make her give her rights to him and he will get his money back. So now what she has done is put the government on her back, for the rest of her life. Bad move IMO.

Just one point. As an accountant, I have seen the bankruptcy court forgive IRS debt but admit that it is rare. I agree with you on the County debt, I believe she will be made to pay Orange County what she owes.

Slightly off topic but concerning the 'sexual abuse' if Casey is as we suspect is a histrionic/narcissistic, she is very seductive towards men and may even be an initiator. I would not be shocked to hear that it was shewho egged Lee on, and has manipulated him to a degree where he feels the shame, not her.

Re: the issue mentioned above about Lee and the true dynamics of what that actual situation are.. if it is in fact true that there was "something" sexual that was implied or occurred btwn her and Lee IMO I personally have little doubt that the initiator was Casey..if even if never actually acting on it, I believe that she would have alluded to sexual play with Lee...flirted the idea to him for nothing than her own pleasure, satisfaction, and enjoymemt of seeing his reactions..

all of this IMO would absolutely be a topic and issue of shame for Lee even tho he in no way was the initiator, the aggressor.and even if there was never any acting on that sexual play Casey may have danced around him with..IMO nonetheless it would be shameful for Lee, period..jmo

I have always believed that the defense was first going to use Lee in the manner they used George. Casey had told two of her boyfriends her story of what she says Lee had done. Then there was the jailhouse letters that she accused Lee of touching her. I believe Cindy, George and Baez together decided to use George to protect Lee's reputation. I am not saying that Lee did any of the things Casey said he did (I don't think he molested her), just that there were people she told that Lee had done them, and the jailhouse letters.
I have no sympathy for George as he allowed, maybe even came up with the plan himself to protect Lee from being accused.
IMO, Baez knew when he wrote the book that George would never sue him, because if it ever went to court the truth of why George was accused would come out. Also, by the blogs people felt sorry for George and did not (I still don't believe he molested her) believe he molested her anyways.
For awhile George had the best game going in town. People were even saying that if George ever wrote a book they would buy it. His true colors are finally coming out, I am so glad to see the tides turning.

I believe Casey concocted the molestation garbage. She told her "story" to a doc who evaluated her while she was in jail. And Baez read their report and thought they could use that...he then approached the Anthony's and told them flat out that Casey was just inches away from lethal injection and this was the only chance they had of saving her. And with that, they went along with it. All JMO.

It should be a GED prep book so she can finally finish high school, get into some trade school program, get a REAL JOB, pay taxes like the rest of us, have to budget & sacrifice, etc.

ETA: All this talk of her becoming a paralegal. Admission into a paralegal program requires a high school diploma or equivalency (GED). She couldn't be bothered to do that while in jail with nothing to do, alone in her cell for hours. She won't do it now that she's free and can tan, go out to eat, etc. It's too much work and she hates anything that takes work.

Which is not supported by any evidence. He seems to buy into some pretty dated ideas in psychology. There is no evidence a person must have had something horrible happen to them in order for them to do horrible things. That is something comforting for people who think their MUST be a reason. We hate things that don't make sense imo.

I really feel bad for Casey's friends that she used/stole from/got innocently tangled up in the media circus around her. Think about how upset we are that Casey is cruising through life without having to work to support herself. I'd imagine those friends who became victims in all of this are even angrier.

I bet Amy H (the friend she stole checks from) is beyond livid. I believe she works on a cruise ship, leaving her family, friends, and life behind for weeks/months at a time to pay the bills.

Most of Casey's friends (I think the exceptions are Ricardo - who sold some pics to the Enquirer- and Kiomarie) didn't sell their stories or pics. I give them a lot of credit for that & don't really fault those who did sell their stories/pics. They helped show us the real Casey. The Anthonys were at one point insinuating on TV and to the police that some of Casey's friends may have been involved in Caylee's disappearance. I honestly wouldn't begrudge them making some money off of their stories since their lives were turned upside down & splashed all over the media simply by knowing Casey. If Amy or Tony wrote a book, I'd buy it. Anyone who googles their names will find they are connected to Casey Anthony. They'll probably spend a lot of time explaining this to future employers, co-workers, their kids one day, friends, etc. They may as well get to have power over their own experience and make some money off of being a victim of Casey's lies.
