ITA Kat!

I always just thought b/c she went missing in the beginning of Feb, and that is close enough to Christmas, that they may have been clothes given to her for Christmas..just throwing it out there!

And the Christmas stockings were still hanging up!

Right. And the light from the kitchen should have illuminated the room just a tad -- especially if it woke up MC. MC would practically have to roll over HC to get up (according to the video shot). IMHO - HC never even made it to bed that night :(

Mel

You made a good point, I want to add if I can. Let's say it is true that Ron's work hours were from 4pm to 12am and it is said that Misty turned her phone off at 8:30PM due to a fight she had over the phone with Ron. Why would she worry about the light being on? If Ron comes home late from work then I am sure he turns the light on when he gets home. The bathroom was right there so Misty could of used that one, and like you said either rolled over HC or Jr. or triped on the mattress on the floor and would of had to look down to not trip and notice Haleigh was not there. Why did she not try and call Ron around 12:30AM to find out why he was not home? I know that the time-line has not been fully established, but I will believe what TJ reported to NG and on his site that Ron worked from 4pm to 12am that night, but chose to work till 3am for extra work.

A child is to be provided a space they can call their own. I do not believe DFS requires that child to HAVE to sleep in their room if they are reluctant to do so. They just must be provided that option.

Just a quick thought...maybe the van in question was used to dispose of a mattress? Perhaps the driver was panicked and hurrying and thats what caused the scratches?
Was there a mattress/sleeping pad/sheets or any bedding in the dumpster that the dogs hit on? I don't even remember LE giving any info on why the dogs hit on that dumpster. I'm not buying that the dogs hit on sanitary pads.

Thanks for the link for the closet, Kat!

I did see that Haleigh's little saphire blue dress and the rose colored one was not hanging there. IMO, any little girl would want their 'dress-up' dresses with her.

Where are they? Not asking you in particular, Kat. Just a general question!

IIRC, when we were watching live feed as it was happening, I do recall something maybe the size of a baby bed mattress looking thing being taken out of the dumpster. Does anyone else?

I don't remember it at all, but I'll search for it. Any ideas what station you were watching?

Sorry to take so long in answering your question, Capri!

It was HLN and it was as it was actually happening. Mike Galanos (sp) kept it on screen even as his show came on. Quite a lot of us were watching at the time. Crystal and her family were still in their tent at that time. IIRC, it might have been the same evening that Crystal had gone to the doctor;s office and so many people were reporting that Crystal could not be found. No reflection on Crystal whatsoever as it was an innocent doctors visit!

OH! another thought...is it possible the mattress was thrown in that dumpster the dogs hit on and then later moved???

anything's possible, esp. Since that dumpster search was over two weeks after H went missing.

:) @ LaLaw. I know you are just asking a question in general no worries hun.

As for any of her clothes that may not be visible within the closet. They might be elsewhere in the room? Drawer? or elsewhere?

If she had a mattress on her bed I would suggest having a look under there also, LOL...just because of my kids and the massive amounts of carp they manage to cram under there...I'm just kiddin' with you :)

Both of the 2 mattresses in the room were directly on the floor, though. No bed frames. There eas a toddler bed frame in a separate BR, but no mattress at all on it.

I wonder if anyone else wants to revisit the blanket(s) story? Or do we already have a thread for that?

I have read here and like most of the posters here that have commented, that MC's story is wrong on so many levels. MC's story about the beds, who was sleeping where, when she got up what she would have seen (haleigh and haleigh's bed empty) is baloney, for lack of a better word.

I think the bed(s) story was so detailed (in that she would immediately go into minute detail when asked about the beds and sleeping arrangements) and so convoluted and changed so often that it might must be a red herring for us. A distraction from the real story. I just don't know at this time.

Yes Capri I know. I was just joking around about anything being under the bed because it was impossible for anything to be under there. Sorry.

Ah, got it. :)

I remember bering so surprised at how little bedroom furnitute there was. I mean I totally understand mix-match furniture and plastic storage bins, etc, but that bedroom was bare bones. Mattress on floor,0ne sheet. It surprised me when Teresa N came out and said Ron was getting ready to buy his own home. Just didn't seem consistent with mattresses on the floor. To each his own, I guess.

Great thread Capri!

I remember the walk through, and the photos. You are right there was a king size bed in the master bedroom and a toddler mattress in the master bedroom. There was a frame to a bed in HC's room, with no mattress on it.

I do not recall seeing anything about JR room. Of course he is not the one missing and it was probably irrelevent. I would assume that other room was JR's.

IMO, i think it would have been beneficial to show JR's room, i think this b/c what if there was no bed in JR's room? Then there would only be two mattresses for four people to sleep on, and that would have defeated the purpose of moving into that MH in the first place.

I don't think that was a King bed in the master bedroom, it looked more like a double and really stretching it to make it a queen.

I would think that LE took Haleighs mattress to process immediately, and that the mattress that was on the floor in the master bedroom was probably JRs bed and was just put there to show placement for the walk thru so people could get an idea of where Haleigh was sleeping.

That is not correct. The toddler mattress on the floor has been identified as Haleigh's bed from day one. The entire "reason" that Ron got the three bedroom MH was a farce to try to show that he had a room for each child. The three bedrooms were not used for the children. The bedframe in Haleigh's room should have held the toddler mattress on the floor of the master bedroom. It has always been portrayed that Jr. slept in the same bed as Ron and his underaged girlfriend.

Ron backed up the sleeping arrangements 100% and has not changed his story although he was not there that night. There has never been any explanation given on where Jr. was suppose to have slept when Ron returned home. It has been rumored that his "room" was used for storage.

IIRC there is a video of Ron (it may be one of Ron's early NG appearances) where he mentions "my queen sized bed". I'm pretty sure I saw the clip replayed on NG this past week, actually.
