Violet is not too bad, better than Hydrangea - LOL. Other celebrity-named flower/plant children: Honeyblossom, Tiger Lily, Sage Moon Blood (mixed metaphor, that, by Sly Stallone) Leaf and Daisy Boo.

As for the nuts and fruits consider Peaches, Apple, Hazel and Coco (well, sort of a nut). We also have Romeo, Rocco, Rumer, Tallulah, Scout, Phinnaeus, Homer, Satchel and Jett, not to be overshadowed of course, by Moon Unit, Dweezil, Puma, Fifi, River, Rainbow, the Georges Foreman Jr., 2,3,4 and 5 (I think it's 5), Liberty, Brooklyn, Dakota, Phoenix and Diva Muffin!

What I want know- which celeb is going to have the guts/gall to break into the vegies and melons, and what prized one will it be? Zucchini? Lima Bean? Asparagus? Honeydew? Pumpkin?

I needed a good chuckle this morning!!!

I know someone that named their daughter Paris Brooklyn. I thought it was strange.

I named my youngest Josephine...I got a LOT of negative comments about that choice, but the moment they handed her to me she *looked* like a Josephine. We call her Sophie a lot, too...

Oh Gosh, your post reminded me of a few more: Prince Michael, Paris and "Blanket" Jackson!

Remember when Cher named her daughter Chastity and we thought it was so strange? Well, that name had an ironic twist to it, didn't it?

Why give you crap for calling a kid Jospehine? The diminutive is Josie, which is very popular.

One of my grandmother's good friends from church was (I kid you not) Ophelia Fuzzle.

Real names I've chortled over: Cherry Herring, Timber Woods.

And get this: On my family tree way back there's a Mirth, Joy and Glee - all sibs. Brownie points for the one who guesses which was the boy!
