The Civil Guard has requested public assistance to identify the remains of a woman, which were found partially buried by a gardener in Benahavís (Málaga) in 2023.

The Armed Institute, lacking sufficient information to identify the deceased—who is believed to have died between 2020 and 2023—has released approximate portraits of the victim. These were created by the Forensic Anthropology Unit of the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML) of Galicia using facial reconstruction techniques

The woman was believed to be around 40 years old at the time of her death. She was likely of European origin, in good health, and about 1.60 meters tall. She had fair skin, brown or dark brown hair—though its length and style are unknown—and brown eyes. According to the Guardia Civil, an examination of her bones suggests she had given birth at least once.

I wonder if it is Violencia de genero/femicidio? A home violence case?

When I first saw your post, the sketch instantly made me think of the Spanish actress Rossy de Palma. The Jane Doe has really unique features, and I remember having that same thought a while back when I came across a missing person post. I just can’t remember if I saw it on Facebook or Interpol. I only recall that the person was from Spain or disappeared in Spain. I'll try to find it.

I agree, there’s definitely something in common. Looking at the Jane Doe sketch, I really think she could be Spanish. I assume the police describe her as European rather than specifically Spanish because there are no missing Spanish women who match her description.
