Lordy! No one knows where Kosse is. The only reason I know where it is located is due to the family farm. Before I married my husband..I had never heard of the place!DEPUTYDAWG said:Oh no! We won't let that happen. DD has a good sense of direction, but hasn't ventured out to many outlying areas of Texas. (As in, didn't even know where Kosse was!)
LOL...that is what we call it too! :crazy:Sassygerl said:I have absolutely NO sense of direction either...turn me around and I don't know which way is what. Chances of meeting are looking slim...LOL...I can however make it to the Whataburger in Wacko!!!!!![]()
DEPUTYDAWG said:I was just at Wendy's, right next to the Whataburger, LOL! Where were you?!
Chances of meeting are slim? Nooooo, we HAVE to do this!

Sassygerl said:I just know of Whataburger because that is our trade off spot when our kids go visit friends in Dallas, or visa versa....that's a good 1/2 way spot and it's right off the highway!
:woohoo: Waco is about 40 minutes away for me (30 if I'm running late). :woohoo:DEPUTYDAWG said:Tap tap tap....helllo??? Y'all forgot me too! Right in the "Greater Waco Metropolitan area" ya know....![]()
I wanna know...when ARE we going to have a party?!
And isn't Sadie Mae from Fort Hood?! She needs to go, as well!
DEPUTYDAWG said:I am absolutely rolling on the floor on this one - yep, that about sums it up, LOL. It's a great pit stop for going someplace more impressive :woohoo:
It's a good place because it's central, but other than that....
I'm game wherever y'all wanna go!

Tell him you are going to meet some old farts and go to eat and look at the mall. I promise...it is not a lie as far as describing me. :crazy:Marthatex said:Third or fourth weekend in January, depending on the weather? Howsabout that? Or would you rather wait till Feb. or March? I honestly think this could be really fun, the more I think about it.
(my husband is going to flip his wig if I tell him I'm going to meet people on the internet) Hmm, I 'm going to have to tell him - what? OH, I've got it. If he meets Sassygerl first, then I'll tell him she's a friend from church and we're going to go shopping in Salado. Or something like that.
About 7 years ago I flew to San Francisco to meet some friends from an IRC chatroom I was a member of for 2 years. We had members from Chicago, Florida, Ohio, and 4 other states meet up there. Most of the members of the group lived in Cali. It was hysterical finding each other as our flights landed, some we had photos of, others we didn't. As we met up, we were going to other gates to meet flights. After a few days in SF area a group of 14 took a flight to LA to meet up with 8 more members. We bunked out at members homes throught the trip. My host in SF was a social worker w/7 kids & she visited me in Texas. From LA, 9 of us went to San Jose to stay with a member who was a sculptor & art professor. He lived up in the mountains, awsome place in the middle of the redwoods out in nowhereland. By the time I got home 10 days later my whole face hurt from laughing so much. I've never had so much fun!!!Marthatex said:Third or fourth weekend in January, depending on the weather?
