Big win for the Prosecution, Padilla's team's testimony will come in !

I hate to be the party pooper in the group, but how do we know this testimony will reveal anything different/new than what we've already heard LP spout on the airwaves?

Yes, I'm glad Strickland ruled to allow it in, but I'm not sure I would consider it a "big win" for the Pros. I guess call me jaded already from this case. We get hyped up over a certain document and testimony only to find out that it's old news or it wasn't as great as we expected.

I hope I'm proved wrong, of course. And again, sorry to be the downer in the group today.

Of course, the FBI was interested in Tracy and what she heard and saw very early on; IIRC, they interviewed her after she returned to CA. She was not only privy to KC's actions, but CA and GA's as well, which will go to whether or not they even thought KC was telling the truth at all.

If it is true (as LP has said) that Tracy heard the comment KC made about "they haven't even found her clothes", if she witnessed the fight where CA and GA's ex-cop buddy had to remove GA from KC's room after he wanted to know what happened to Caylee and she said something like "quit being such a cop and try being more of a dad", if she witnessed the scene in which CA supposedly crowed that she wished she had given the FBI the dog's toothbrush instead of Caylee's - I'm sure these were not isolated incidents and there could be a whole lot more she witnessed that is relevant not only to the criminal case but the civil case as well.

Tracy could testify as to whether she heard any serious mention of ZFG at all from any of the residents; I realize KC changed the story to a forced abduction at JBP, but LE was never notified by KC about that - IMO, it was just to get everyone off her back asking her questions by giving her a reason that she had been "threatened" and it would be "dangerous" for her to share information.

Personally, I'm dying to know what went on in that house for the first week or so after KC got bonded out - it could speak volumes as to whether or not the actions of CA and GA afterward, in insisting Caylee was alive and simply kidnapped, were even based on any behavior Tracy observed at all in the Anthony home or were directly in contradiction to what she saw and heard any of them say. Not to mention other behavior, like if KC was constantly on the computer or had access to any phones.

Personally, I was shocked that the second time she was bailed out by the second firm in September - she basically was unsupervised other than an ankle bracelet until mid-October. Someone should have been listening to her and her entire corroborating family every minute as far as I'm concerned.

Not that this is new, but I love hearing it again......LP saying on the radio show that GA claiming to have seen KC & Caylee on the 16th is a lie. And remembering that regardless of where you stand on LP........he was willing to take a poly, and GA was not. It also is something that has been discussed here ad nauseum, but I think it's a whopper that I hope they nail GA on the stand for.

Later, WKMG-Channel 6's Tony Pipitone provided more insight about Padilla and the bounty hunter's team. "We don't know what's in those statements, but [defense attorney Jose] Baez does," Pipitone said. "And he didn't want it to be considered even for evidence. I doubt that TP will be called. Petty sure LP has nothing of value to the state, either.

I think that LP will be called to testify re: the bonding out of KC, and the fact that she did nothing to find Caylee, no one talked about her and KC never asked LP to go hunt down the kidnappers using his enormous resources and skills which he offered for free to get Caylee back.

It wasn't a tough decision for the judge, there was no privilege to cover the bounty hunters or TP.

My initial impression of LP was that he was the biggest horse's a$$ ever when he was all over the media claiming he'd have Caylee home in a week after bonding KC out. But when he willingly and publicly and repeatedly owned his mistake it was obvious that he was looking for the truth, truly wanting to find Caylee, not buying the A line of carp. He may grandstand a bit, but I don't blame him- any publicity is good publicity to some people. But I do think his consistent statements about what he saw and heard would be valuable to the SA, and Tracey's even more so, since we don't really know all she saw and heard. But all of the Padilla Posse's potential testimony would go to prove that KC was not concerned at all about her missing child and never lifted a finger to look for her. (Why would she? She knew exactly where Caylee was...)

KC was CSI skankbarhopping and getting tattoos while Caylee was missing...KC was ugly coping. :furious:

KC received a call from an unknown number the day before she was arrested on a whim...from Caylee...phone records don't always show up...she was switching her sim card back and forth. The phone company is in league with the FBI, SA, LE, etc...to frame KC by deleting a critical phone call that would have proven that Caylee was only "missing" and not actually dead. :behindbar

No one bought KC's original story of dropping off Caylee at the SawGrass...well, she was forcibly taken from her at JB park...that's the ticket.:clap:

Ergo, henceforth, if all of the above nonsense is true (and I ain't no moron, I am right in the head...lol) then why worry about what Padilla and co could possibly say about this wrongly accused and targeted upstanding member of society?

She was a hard worker (lying about a fake job and pretending to go to work all the time is hard...work ya'll: cut her some slack).

She is responsible with money (nevermind that she steals it from sleepwalkers and relations in nursing homes...she probably only spent that money on Caylee...hah).

She was with her child all the time...never allowed her near any cigarette lit or not...(I guess all of that time 90% that Caylee spent being watched by CA and GA doesn't count).
She is good at yard work. (She borrows and returns shovels from neighbors to clear out bamboo.)

And most importantly, she would never appear in anyway abnormal, guilty, lying ect...to people living in the house with her for nine days.

LOL. I can't wait to read the interviews of Padilla and Co. If there is nothing to fear, why object? Because, quite simply, LP, etc... were all flies on the wall in that house apart from the A's...a place I know a lot of us wanted to be...and during a very critical time. They can provide something that the jury would not get otherwise. Truthful observations of what it was really like in there. What was said. What KC did. What her parents did.

All I have to say is "have a nice day, JB." Maybe you can find a character witness for your client on Craigs List. LOL. You could always start calling random peeps listed in the phone book.

I to have been waiting to hear what all Tracy had to say. Didn't at one point LE go out to Cali to speak to her? I know they were there to speak to Mark, but around the same time Tracy got an attorney and asked for immunity if I recall correctly? I also recall the main reason for Padilla to bond Casey out was so that she could help them search for Caylee which she did not and I think that is very valuable to the prosecution, that even after someone put up the $500,000 bond for her and offered their services to help locate the so called nanny Casey did "NOTHING" and this will hurt her I am sure.

We got some interesting insight from TP in the other thread. He said Casey was all about Casey and Cindy holding her crying like a baby. Can't wait to see what Tracey observed in a week.

SA told WESH 2 they will release audio taped interviews with bail bondsmen Leonard Padilla and his team. That means the public will hear what they heard and saw from Casey Anthony long before the case goes to trial.

Of particular interest is the FBI interview with Tracy McLaughlin. After Casey Anthony's arrest, McLaughlin spent nine days with her in the Anthony home and sources said she developed a bond with her.

The spokeswoman for Lawson Lamar said they plan to release the tapes because they are part of the public record. She plans to do that late next week or the week after.

In the coming days, the state attorney's office told WESH 2 they will release audio taped interviews with bail bondsmen Leonard Padilla and his team. That means the public will hear what they heard and saw from Casey Anthony long before the case goes to trial.

IMO. AT THE BEGINNING, I do believe he thought Casey innocent BUT after he and his team met her in her family home I believe RED FLAGS began to fly..he still gave her the benefit of the doubt UNTIL he heard some of the reports of chloroform and decomp smell info and then he changed his mind about Casey and what may have happened to Caylee.

I do remember him talking on TV about the moment he stopped believing in Casey...I've been looking for the link to that interview but haven't been able to find it YET

I am trying to remember when that went down; wasn't it shortly after the indictment for murder in October? I thought it was the FBI that went out to take her statement and she asked for immunity. We have heard several stories from LP that Tracy saw and heard all kinds of things in that house.

I just hope Morgan & Co get a go at them as well now, because at least we'll get the depo transcript quickly and they will ask a BUNCH of nice "irrelevant" questions that the pros won't go near.
