Many of the women would tell you quite openly that Bill Cosby's fame was his draw...
He called modeling agencies to get young models to audition and they were like, wow, it's Bill COSBY... they were auditioning for the Cosby Show or trying to get another break in the show business and there comes this famous guy who seems to like you and says he could help you and it could be your one big chance... you're starstruck and your parents are starstruck and the woman in charge of your modeling agency told you you oughta go...

maybe Bill Cosby thought that the good ole casting couch trick was familiar enough that anyone who came through his door had implied consent but that's not really how consent works.

Actually though, he was a Hefner, with promises of acting/modeling jobs, of opening doors, etc., except, unlike Hef, he wasn't up front about the price of his "help."

I could get fired for saying this but lets face it ..... celebrities have some of the most messed up lives on the planet . Next to Hollywood the biggest industries are rehab centers , psychiatrists , and divorce courts.

How they live their lives is none of my business .... but when they grab the microphone and tell me how they are going to save the planet , save the whales , save the animals , stop aids and stop global warming it makes me ill ..... they cannot even save themselves . They are speaking with a fraudulent voice .

And the starlet and wannabe actress knows full well they will have to sleep their way to the top and partake in the debauchery to get noticed .... and they do , and a thousand more lives get messed up.

If I stop by the stripper bar on my way home from work and end up sipping champagne in a motel with one of the dancers I cannot blame everything on the dancer.
