I agree, stranger abductions of an infant are very rare, not impossible, but they are usually carried out by a woman who either cannot get pregnant or who just wants a baby. They are looking for a man right now in Lisa's case and that doesnt make sense to me. i dont think I have ever heard of an infant being snatched by a guy. A child yes, but not an infant.

I've also seen cases of men kidnapping infants, but they don't usually keep them and take care of them like a woman would (not that all women take care of infants they steal, but they are more likely to). In one case I heard about, a man threw an infant out of a car window as the car was moving. In other cases, the violence in more immediate - throwing a kid across the room, beating or shaking an infant until it stops crying, etc. And then the body is tossed and found not long after that. Or sometimes, like in the case of those three boys, the bodies are hidden to hopefully not be found.

That's what scares me if a man took little Lisa...(sorry for the OT)

Now as for this private detective who's only consulting and now bringing in people from nationwide...wow is this case turning rapidly into a three ring circus!

I don't get that at all...Lisa's mother is clearly distraught.
KC was defiant and belligerent.

But the media frenzy and circus atmosphere is building and taking away from the search for Lisa and putting the emphasis on the clowns. People are trying to make a name for themselves rather than keeping the attention on finding the baby. To me that makes is Caylee 2.0 and it scares me to pieces no matter who had anything to do with the disappearance.

I am once again seeing name calling. Do not call this man anything but Wild Bill the PI or his given name.

Derogatory Name Changes to Case Players/General Name Calling

In an effort to keep case discussion constructive, name calling, general bashing and using derogatory name variations for any of the case players is not tolerated. Regardless of how we may feel about many of the people that are the focus of our discussion here,it is always best to elevate the conversation and avoid this type of posting behavior. Feel free to express your displeasure with individuals that are being discussed, just avoid petty nastiness, name calling, name changes and over the top rude posts directed at case players.

I wonder if they will be licensed in Mo ?

Wonder how deep the pockets go of the "wealthy" family that supposedly hired him go? Are they all gonna be on payroll?

This thread is like a bad car accident. I don't want to look, but I can't seem to help myself, and then I feel all oogy after. :(

Oooooh snap! Seems MK is not cheering this either.

FYI if anyone is unclear about what a PI can/not do, this article is helpful.

MOO: We will hear in the next week that this PI facilitated another LDT and the mom passed. *rolls eyes* watch and see if I'm right.

I keep thinking about this, but it isn't so much out of interest. It is like watching a train wreck about to happen on TV. You know if you scream no one is gonna hear ya, you want to stop it from happening but know you can't, but you can't look away either sort of way.

This has so much of a reality TV sort of feel to it. Both LP and BS are from far away from the scene's of the crime. Both have had loose connections with TV productions or wanna be productions. Both found a way to make themselves palatable to the families. Both got their faces on TV right away. Both rather flamboyant people (though at this point maybe BS is a little less so.)

I don't see any good things coming out of this, though the show might be good.

considering LE has not claimed she failed the first one, and we all know it's possible and even probable that LE lied to her, leading her to believe she failed when she did not......i hardly think it would be a shock should another test occur. nor would i be surprised if she passed it.

i'd like the father to take one.
