bill stanton~independent investigator hired by anonymous man and woman benefactors

  • #601
I saw the PI on the news this morning getting out of the backseat of a KC police car, maybe they've convinced him of the mom's guilt ?

  • #602
From KMBC's Maria Antonia: The investigator leaves the house after talking this morning to what appeared to be both the mom and dad of the missing toddler. He didn't comment on his conversations with the family, and when I asked him about the team he's assembling he says some will be arriving and only said there would be several people.

Think LP's on his way ?

Wild Bill will get escorted off the property within 24 hours and asked not to come back by the family for asking too many questions. MOO.

This was funny but the sad part is I believe it is very possible.
I do not believe that DB or JI hired this guy. I really think Im falling off the fence cause I am starting to be very sceptical. I could be wrong and I hope I am. I just dont get how/why they call in this big shot PI but not call in TES or some other search org.
I know this post is a big rambling mess but so are the thoughts running through my head. This case is so:maddening:
Where is Lisa???????? She is the getting lost in the circus act

The parents did not hire the PI. Some wealthy benefactor is supposedly paying him. But the family apparently agreed to let him be their spokesperson.

I think the PI will make LE even more diligent in their search. I also think it will prevent DB from being arrested without solid evidence. I was concerned that they were focusing more on building a case than finding Lisa. For all I know, mom might be guilty, but unless there's evidence that Lisa is deceased they need to be looking for her.

I think LE is very focused on find ing the baby. I don't think their goal is to build a case against the mother.

Kinda O/T but I wanted to apoligize for some of my blunt posts here yesterday. As I mentioned then my son's baseball coach died in a carwreck at 1:30 yesterday morning. He died as a result of driving drunk and not wearing a seatbelt and I'm so angry. He left behind 2 children (4 and 1) as well as a great number of teenage boys (mine included) that loved and respected him. One year ago next month my son lost the great grandfather that he loved and respected more than anything. Just as 5 years ago this past August he lost my father. We lost both of those great men to cancer, after they fought like hell to beat it and be here for us so to watch him cry after losing yet another person that mattered so much to him really did me in. His entire team will gather at the funeral home tonight and see first hand what the consequences of drunk driving really are but that lesson, the face they see, should not have to be a man they looked up to and grieve so honestly for.

What is all comes down to is I'm so sick of children being hurt by the selfish actions of the adults around them. I can't say with 100% certainity that Baby Lisa is dead because of her parent(s) actions but I can say that what they have done since then has helped turned her disappearance into a media circus that has made a mockery of what should have been a serious search for this beautiful child. Everyone is proffiting off that baby and while all they see is $ there are complete strangers here in this forum that actually care about finding her.

I think many in Lisa's family care deeply about finding her and that includes her brothers. The fact that nobody is perfect and everybody dies at some point is a life lesson all children learn at some point. Grandparents are never around forever and for many children, they never get any time at all with them. I think Steve Jobs summed it up beautifully when he said everybody wants to go to heaven but nobody wants to die in order to get there.

I hope your son focuses on the positive contributions of his coach and less on the fact the guy made a horrible mistake. And I hope Lisa's mother and father choose honesty and end this nightmare for Lisa. Hopefully, this investigator can persuade them.

End this? What odd wording. Either he's way overconfident in his abilities, or was told something that leads him to believe that there's going to be an end to this. Why didn't he say to help find baby Lisa? That wording is really bothering me...

IMO, they did more in the first days after Lisa went missing than any agency I've been privy to here on WS. My town is pretty close and I pass through KC every day. I'm proud of how hard LE has worked on this case. Everything I've seen them do since they ran out of leads has appeared to be prepping for a case against someone, presumably the mother, although at first I thought maybe it was the neighbor.

I agree with you. I also believe that they(LE) knows A LOT more than we can even imagine. IMO I believe that every search, reenactment, and interviews they have done is for a reason. Not on a whim. In other words IMO they are on track and again IJMO they have POI.
on track with this thread I hope whom ever hired them (the PI) I hope they are not biased and are willing to do WHATEVER it takes to find LISA

"End this" jumps out at me because you end hostage situations - you don't "find" hostages. So, if they have an idea who took Lisa, or think they know where Lisa is, then if BS can help recover her, I'd phrase it more as "ending" the hostile/hostage-like situation. Or, ending can also apply to a more stalemate-type situation. He could be referring to himself as the bridge which ends the coldness between the family and LE, thus helping them to work together.

I saw that too. I respect LE but darn it I wish we knew what they knew.
LE talked to the PI for a reason.

End this = get the confession

MOO

MOO-The goal here is to find Lisa-I wonder if LE has evidence against either the mother or father and say one is covering for the other-Why not offer the weakest link Immunity to bring this poor baby home! Maybe BS will see the story for himself and convince the weakest link that it would in his/her best interest to offer to tell LE what they know for immunity.Either way Lisa comes home! Just a thought!!

I don't believe the father knows where Lisa is.

IF the parents are innocent, and the baby's been gone nearly 2 weeks,
and at best, LE has been unsuccessful in finding her, or at worst blaming them, I think
the best thing they could do right now is to get as much media attention on
them as they can, by any means neccessary. I think they would want her picture on the cover of PEOPLE
magazine and on every TV show that will talk about her. If she really was kidnapped,
and is still alive, her only real chance of being found is if someone sees her and
notices something hinky, or if massive media attention scares kidnapper into
getting rid of her.

IMO The media is focused on building a case against the mother.

How so? Just basing this on being 200 miles from KC and relying on internet reporting in the Star and the local TV dot.coms, it seems as if the media is being balanced in also reporting other aspects of the case.

The parents should be on camera pleading for the baby's life. Nothing else matters.

That is a strange comment.

End what Mr. BS?

I'm guessing he's referring to people thinking the parents, esp D, are involved.
I doubt a PI can do what LE hasn't been able to do.

I don't care who finds baby Lisa, I just want her found.

Are there examples of where this tactic worked, or should they do it just for show?
