Covering their butts it's the some other dude did it. Billie may be in denial that Shawn played a part in her disappearance. She might know deep down but, can't cope with the thought she is sleeping with the enemy.
Other theory is she is protecting Shawn because they both conspired together in the crime and/or in the cover-up.
It's hard for me to grasp a mother would her her daughter like this but, it's possible.

Listening to the arachive of the interview with Billie Dunn. A little over 1/2 way through. Basically, everyone is lying, especially LE. LE has made-up all evidence. LE has done nothing to look at any sex offenders. Sean is a super guy.
It appears that Billie has received some speaking training. She sounds more refined than in the past.
One thing that cracked me up was that Carrie defended Billie for stopping working with the police after they arrested her for lying to the police (when she was hiding Sean at her house). Carrie said something like "duh! you arrested her! Why would she keep working with you!?!" LOL!!! That was rich! Billie broke the law and got caught so it is OK to stop working with the police that are trying to find your daughter! wow!
One other thought, for now at least, on another blogtalk show, Bring Them Home Now, the hostess had on Libby Christ, a licensed polygraph examiner in Austin Tx. She was a fantastic interview! You could tell she knows her stuff. Anyway, I would like Tricia to interview her and get her perspective on the remarks Billie made about the polygrapher she was examined by.

Unless Billie does not know, she might be in denial. But, if she knows and is covering for him- it's unforgivable.
I wouldn't. I am not that desperate enough to hang any man, let alone one that possibly killed my own daughter. He'd have to run from me.

It's really hard to follow this case all this time with no breaks. I thought after child emerged the LE would have grounds for arrests. The wheels of justice move way too slow.

One thing I didnt get about the polygraphs..Billie claims she failed hers cause of the medication/drugs she was taking ..so if thats the case..why did Clint not fail his poly ?

My issue is that, *I* expected Billie to do what Carrie did. That is what I expect everyone in this situation to do, if there is any doubt.

Amber's stepfather cooperated. Carrie left and they had a child together. I was hoping to know Why can't Shawn and Billie do the same?

That is true. However a few months ago now Naomi and Clint were called in and questioned and i think polygraphed. After those interviews the LE stated they were satisfied that Clint and Naomi had no knowledge of what happened to Hailey.

As a mother of two teenage girls, I don't believe this timeline. Thank God neither of my children have been missing for a lengthy time, but they both have "not always been where they were supposed to be". Billie talked to David and Clint and immendiately asked Clint to call LE. First of all, I would never had taken the word of a sibling. I would have checked with MB's mother, myself. I would have called every aquaintance and relative, searched her room..and then called the police. I find it very suspicious that she immediately knew Hailey was "missing"

It was just sad how she was asked about Shawn threatening her and Hailey and she said you can't threaten my kids and he didn't threaten Hailey. But yes he threatened to kill Billie, and she just sort of brushed past it like it was nothng. Please someone tell her it's not nothing.

I have been unable to find any information that the XBox game system even has a camera. So, how is it possible that there are photos of Hallie playing the XBox that night? Did they have a webcam attached to the XBox? And if they did, does that mean that they did in fact have internet service in the house even though they have said they did not? This makes no sense to me. IF there are photos of Hallie playing a game and wearing both of her red earrings, then why is Clint and Naomi not suspects like Shawn is? To me it sounds like once again a lie to try and place the blame on somone, anyone other than Shawn.

Is Billie saying that Hailey took photos of herself while playing or was playing Live MO online at the time?
This is confusing. My Xbox did not come with a cam.

I dont know how it works but i just asked my friends about this after i read your post. They said no you dont need the internet. Basically how it works it senses movement and you play games with it (?) as well as it being a camera. The pictures taken go to the hardrive of the x box apparently.

I also had a draw dropping moment when their "hot suspect"'s name wasn't able to be recalled! From my count the following people had suspicion sprayed on them : jealous Naomi, the paedophile/homosexual basketball playing neighbour, the forgotten SO, Naomi's mother who can't keep stories straight (ha!) and MB's bf. But of course Shawn who is interested in violence and gore, threatened to kill Billie and said killing a teenage girl would be like killing a deer, who lied about his movements on the Monday and was pinged back near the house half an hour after leaving work and was off the radar for 5 hours - he's obviously innocent cause he's kept his cool the last 13 months.

Billie's first account of Tuesday afternoon to nancy grace

"So Tuesday, I called my son. I said tell Hailey text the little girl, her friend, tell Hailey she needs to go ahead and get home. This was around lunch. My son called me back within a few minutes and she said, Mom, she said Hailey never made it over there. She never spent the night.

So at that point I called Hailey’s dad, um, and found out she didn’t go over there and she didn’t stay the night with him. I left from work and went to the police station in Colorado City and reported her missing."

Versus David went and asked Clint, then came home and spoke to Billie and returned with a phone for her to speak to Clint and that she visited some homes in CCity before attending the police. The next day Clint was interviewed and stumbling over the timeline himself states he found out Hailey was missing from David. Now I guess you could say this NG version is an edited down by Billie to be briefer - but why? I think it was spin from the start to prove she was an attentive mother, to make up for the apparent oversight in her duty of care the Monday night before. Even if you are involved you don't need to lie about how you faked your discovery of the disappearance, unless you are trying to influence already.

Plus, I'm sure she would mention Clint only smoked weed and Billie was taking lots of pills.

My situation... my $#%#$#@ mother attempts to walk & talk right now and can barely even stand up... & I try not scream... :sick: :banghead:

My opinion: I'd take the parent who smoked weed over the one that took pills ANY DAY. I would have chosen Clint over Billie too. :twocents:

Billie is well known for throwing her 'new information' into the scenario. Her version of WHEN she found out about the sleepover changed a few times as well. I searched and searched for the FIRST version of the story, but some the links don't work anymore.

However, I found where we discussed her ORIGINAL version, which was that Shawn told her about the sleepover when they got back home from their 'errands.' I remember the uproar about it ---why wouldn't she have asked about her daughter before that time since she was home all alone etc.

So then the NEW INFO was that Shawn called her on his lunch hour, while she was also on her break, at 1 pm. And we all discussed how strange it was he would drive so far to come back for lunch every day. THEN came the story that he called her at work right after HD left, at 3 or 4pm ,and told her about it. She HAD to tell that new version because Shwn admitted the job quitting thing and there were the pesky cell pings which would disprove that story.

But version number four, came about when Shawn was interviewed outside in his sunglasses---and he said then that Billie CALLED HIM at 5ish for an earlier ride home, and that's when he told her about the sleepover.

And sometime in there, she came up with some new info also, that she had told Hailey the night before " DO NOT LEAVE THE HOUSE TOMORROW." That was all new info at the time. And if so, then why didnt she have DD or someone call or go to MB's and make Hailey come home?

And if DD told her about a troublesome bf, why didnt she call and check on Hailey?

The RSO from Oregon was arrested IN Oregon for not returning a rental tool the day after Hailey vanished. The likelihood of him getting from Tx to Oregon in less than 24 hours is slim to none. Billie and Carrie are both aware of these facts.

In all honesty it would have been wise for Carrie to have checked it out last night before chucking the guy name out there ;(

Then again..i think last night seemed to be a case of..throw as much mud out there as you can and just hope that something sticks ;(
