Btw talking about links..is there any articles in the local papers about Billies wild claims about the Ex Chief Police Dooley chaining his gf in his closet? or about the cop doing something to the guy ( i think Billies next door neighbour ) that were caught in the street? Just curious really because you would think something like that would be something the other locals would know about wouldnt you? Hmm...:innocent:

Ah thanks for that i asked a local about that today and they didnt know anything about it but maybe they thought Billie meant the time he just left? Somehow i had visions of this cop chaining the gf for days though from what she said last night.

Oh ok it wasnt when he was at CCIty but at the place before that.

The victim said it was hours, Dooley said it was 10 minutes. She declined to return to Texas and testify. But I really don't think Dooley had anything to do with Hailey going missing.

Dooley wasn't the police chief when Hailey went missing. He resigned in November but still lived in Colorado City. He offered to help the investigation at one point but was not taken up on the offer. There was an interim chief when Hailey disappeared, John Bivins, who was young for a chief, if that matters. Last summer a new chief took over, Roy Owens. Of course he's the guy who followed up on the recent "lead" that came from somebody's dream.

Whilst it may seem daft they would search because of someones dream ..at least it shows there willing to search for Hailey

I wouldn't pay too much attention to details changing, these were events that happened a year ago, and much of it is stuff people told BD, not what actually happened to her personally. The same holds true for all the other characters in the story.

The earring thing blows me away though. If there really is picture evidence of her wearing them the night before, and these were the earrings found later at CD's house, and if the story of how they got there was really what was said, then CD cannot be telling the truth about her not being there that day, and consequently the version SA gave is probably true. In some ways that explains much of the odd behaviour from that side that didn't make sense to me before. Why would he do this?? The only thing I can think of is that he knew that the last person to have seen her would be the first suspect and he didn't want it to be him, perhaps he thought that he would be in the target hairs because of his prior record.

Then there is the MB thing. Remember that the mother denied that she had seen or contacted HD that day, but then there was the text message that was supposedly sent. Both those things can't be true, someone is lieing.

And the claimed sightings of HD that day and evening that place HD in and around CC that day.

This case is so very strange, it seems we are so close to finding out what happened, the primary characters seem to either know, or have a pretty good idea what happened, but are not talking (or don't know for sure, so they are keeping their mouths shut). It's so close...

IF there was photo evidence of Hailey wearing those earrings the night before and it was time stamped and dated, don't you think that Clint and/or Naomi would be suspects or persons of interest since LE has had the XBox for some time now and checked all data that it contained? For that reason alone I tend to NOT believe Billie about the earrings thing.

Not necessarily. Not being truthfull doesn't mean being guilty. Remember that they came under scrutiny months later (when the polys were given), but were then cleared. We dont know the reasons why LE looked at them again, but the pictures may well be it.

There is a curious lack of anger between CD and BD than you would think that there would be, given all the finger pointing going around. I would say that they both know that the other isn't involved.

How would Carrie even know what sex offenders were even checked out? I very much doubt they would tell her after the way she has been with regard to them..and in all honesty why should they tell her as shes not part of the investigation.


As for the discrepancy indeed why lie about it? why say all this time it was earlier in the day and now change the timeline..yet again.

It was my understanding from listening to the show last night that LE told BD (&/or Carrie?) that *all* of the RSOs were checked out & cleared. However, BD & Carrie's beef with that statement from LE is the fact that this RSO (of whom they couldn't immediately call his name) had a warrant in another state for some type of crime & he was still in the area.

Therefore, BD & Carrie believed LE to be lying about checking out all of the RSOs in the area.

One thing I didnt get about the polygraphs..Billie claims she failed hers cause of the medication/drugs she was taking ..so if thats the case..why did Clint not fail his poly ?

And see, last night I gathered that she said they *all* (all = BD, SA, & BD's brother, iirc) failed because of the person/persons/group that was administering the test? That BD's lawyer had stated that the persons administering the test were known for faulty testing.

Clint and Naomi were cleared by the police of having any kn owledge as to what happened to Hailey.

I may be wrong and please correct me if I am as it's been awhile, but wasn't the poly Clint and Naomi took not in regardings to HD's missing...and LE just cleared them? For me, in this case, just because local LE cleared them doesn't really hold much ground with me.

It ReAlly bothered me when HD first was discovered missing and he didn't even bother going over to BD's house to find out what was going on or talk with LE. He, Naomi and Connie just watched her house thru the window from a far. Naomi's story that she had trouble keeping track of Sunday vs Monday, etc. The coinkydink of CD's sister and BIL taking off back to OK just prior to Connie going over to CC, driving by HD's house, and going to CD's to take Naomi shopping. We never did hear how Naomi called her to ask the favor....since they didn't have a phone.

Just so much in this case sounds like CYA and BS...from all the players...and not just the ones I have mentioned above.

I'm sorry, because I know many posting here are sympathitic to CD, but after his actions time and again and then going back to focus on his whereabouts, what he did, with who, etc I became cynical of him....but not as much as BD and SA, since HD was living with them.

I truly pray HD is somewhere safe and being taken care of by people who know how to raise children in a healthy environment, but I know my prayers are prolly fruitless.

i wouldnt say im sympathetic to Clint as such ( apart from his daughter being missing) as i think his behaviour has been disgusting the past few months. But LE dont think hes involved..and personally nor do i. I have to say i have some uneasy feelings about someone close to Clint ( not Naomi) but..the problem for me still is Shawn for so many different reasons.

Thanks for the link. Where does it say that he was arrested on Dec. 28th?

Reading the link you posted it says starting on December 28, 2010, he allegedly stole a pressure washer and cashed two forged checks belonging to a Milwaukie construction company.

It does not say that's the day he was arrested. Where is he? He's on Most Wanted list!! LE is looking for him.
