I don't have a link, but IIRC, Timmy lives around the corner from Misty and Ron. Also, if IIRC, the SO cousin was staying at Timmy's house.

Lets see now, some more facts......

Misty, her SIL & Brother......live around the corner, their van apears to have been in a different spot than it was when SIL parked it, Misty calls "her" and asks about a scratch?? I think SIL is lying for Misty...I think SHE called Misty and asked about the scratch? Maybe......this is where Im confused. :crazy:

Lets just say someone that night, walked over there using that route that the dogs hit Haleighs scent on (the back way) & took that light blue van and more than likely haleigh in it, dumped her and then put the van back and then walked back....therefore the blanket was in the van? I dont like that scenero, but it seems a likely thing to have occured, "if" Haliegh met with foul play.

I'm wondering if Haleigh was inside the van, would the dogs still pick up on her scent (she not being outside the van)?:waitasec:

Could it be that whoever took Haleigh wrapped her in Misty's blanket when he took her out?

That sure is putting a lot of knowledge of the Croslin family into play....Knowledge of a van, knowledge of how to get into the house silently so as to not wake anyone inside even if they turned on a light, knowledge of where to find Haleigh (if she was the targeted victim), knowledge of Misty as to where her blanket ended up that night if it was used by the perp to wrap Haleigh up to take her out of the house......

I am totally confused about who called who about this scratch in on Misty's van. Why would they even care about a scratch on a van when Haleigh is missing??? The only reason I would think they would mention it is if the SIL, noticed the van in a different spot, then saw the scratch and thought it may mean something, otherwise; it would be the last thing I would care about.

If Misty did lend her van to these people, then the other poster has a great point that the house keys may have been on the key ring, but then I have to ask myself; wouldn't I think to take them off so I could get back in my own house? This just leaves me with more ??? I still feel like it was an accident and it is just being set up to look like the Nanny did it, I mean the cousin.

You may not think to take the key off the key chain if you are 17, stupid, and maybe stoned. Just saying....

Thanks TG. I would be happy with confirmation of the city. I get people saying they lived in different places. My space says Lindsey lived in Satsuma, Chelsea in Palatka.

No one knows yet who exactly owns the van. No one can figure out what Chelsea meant.

Obviously, the van technically belongs to the SIL or Misty, better odds that the SIL owns it. It could be that the van is a shared resource between family members. It could be that the van was in transition of ownership from the SIL to Misty, but doubtful. I think it makes the most sense that the van was a shared resource, this is common in families that live in close proximity to one another where resources like a vehicle are not in abundance.

So this IS the van that has always belonged to Chelsea and her husband. Then why the heck is Chelsea calling it Misty's van? I wish these people would talk straight.

My former in-laws talk like this though. Below is an example of a typical convo with them.

In-laws: I borrowed them a lawn mower.
Me: Borrowed a lawn mower from who? Is yours broken?
In-laws: No, his is broken, so I borrowed them one.
Me: Ahhhh, so you loaned them your lawn mower. Who is them?
In-laws: No, I borrowed him from over there, my lawn mower.

What my in-laws were trying to say was Tim, next door had to borrow a lawn mower from them because his was broken. Grrrrr. It was like pulling teeth to figure out what my in-laws were trying to say. God I feel for the detectives in this case.

I think the van belongs to Lindsey, it was on her myspace page. I think when Chelsea was talking about "she" called me crying...the she is Lindsey not Misty. Chelsea does not say Misty..the reporter does and we all know how bad they have messed up in this case.

I have yet to see anybody confirm where Chelsea lived. Some say Daytona, some say Crescent city, some say Taylor street.

If she does indeed live in Crescent city then the last search made along 17 makes sense.

I am just as confused as you. I have some people saying Chelsea lived around the corner...others say Lindsey lived around the corner.
Some saying Chelsea lived in Daytona...others saying she lived in Crescent city.

It would be nice to know "for sure" since she was in possession of the van. Misty did say that JO was staying in Crescent City and now Chelsea has stated that a relative had been staying with her, who I am guessing is JO.

I have yet to see any kind of confirmation as to where any of them lived.

I'm still trying to figure out if Donald S. and cousin JO were both staying with Misty's brother.. My understanding is DS is a RSO and JO messed with Misty when she was younger... IMHO.. All these people need to be investigated, and locked up for endangerment to children.

Okay, let me clear up a few things that seem to be getting way confused.

Chelsea and husband Timmy DO NOT live around the corner from Ron's home on Green. They may live in Palatka, since this is where Chelsea says she lives on her myspace. They have lived in Daytona.

Lindsy and husband Tommy DO live around the corner from Ron's home. They live on Tyler.

Lindsy posted a photo on her myspace in 2006 of the bluish grey minivan saying "this is what I'm driving".

I would respectfully suggest that if you still believe that Chelsea owns the van and NOT Lindsy, that you watch the video of the interview again and note what the reporter says, what Chelsea says and how it is edited.

Remember, Chelsea and Lindsy are very close and Lindsy may have allowed Chelsea to use the van often. And, in fact, Lindsy asking Chelsea if she put the scratch in "my" van, confirms the fact that Chelsea DROVE the van, but does not own it - Lindsy does.

Misty owning the van does not fit. She doesn't have 2 pennies to rub together.

LINDSY OWNS THE VAN. I will put money on it.

This would explain so much....is there a picture of this van in question on myspace that we could see for ourselves? If it was indeed Lindsey calling Chelsea to report a scratch and ask if or who put it on there.....it would make more sense than Misty calling Chelsea to ask about a scratch in the middle of just finding out that Haleigh was missing unless of course the police informed Misty there was a scratch and were questioning if Misty knew it was there, but the van wasn't at Misty's at the time that police went over there at 3 something right....it would have been at Chelsea's?

I wonder if one of the locals in Satsuma could identfy that van....and also if it was visible to them in the days before Haleigh went missing. Player especially, I think he knew Ron's home the best.
